That was a great question Commander Data.
The years where we've had an exceptional pass rush it was fun seeing opposing QB's feeling heat & either getting sacked or hurrying a pass & our DB's turning play into a pick 6.

Cool, I am a bit worried (imagine that) after problems last year. I have to wonder if injuries may have had to much of a negative impact on Lewis.

Saban spoke about Lewis in a recent presser and said that Lewis, in the yearly strength/explosiveness testing Bama does, tested more explosive now than before he was injured. The question is simply if he stays healthy.

Lewis has a fairly rare size/speed/length combo that's hard to find, and when healthy, he can be the best pass rusher in CFB.

Aggressively collapse the pocket around the QB and good things happen.

Thanks, I hadn't seen the presser. 2016 may have spoiled me expectation wise. If we can provide a moderate amount of pressure on the quarterback, our pass defense is gonna be salty.
