Not sure how player would know that though
You meet and talk with a ton of guys in your exact shoes and build relationships. And then you add in players that those guys are close with and you can’t help but hear and talk about what’s going on in pretty much every corner of the country.

Quinnen went from a backup to a household name over the course of about 45 days. I don’t blame the kid for letting it get to his head. He’s still the best defensive lineman I’ve ever seen at Alabama. He got cocky but it didn’t impact his play. The guy was a force

He said it was very difficult to sit on the sidelines during the year, he was very upset at the coaches because he knew he was better. Exact words “give me 3 seconds and he won’t get a straight pass”.
He sure didn’t show it when he played in garbage time last year.

someone may think he is a better pure athlete but until he learns the system and technique it is possible he was not ready to play starters minutes yet. But in the players mind he should have been the starter.

Even if this is true, Clemson is making the playoff unless they lose the QB.
No one else in the ACC is worth anything.

This is a fact honestly.

With Jennings and a healthy Lewis, he won't start this year. Might play on 3rd and long or obvious passing downs.

Don't be surprised if this isn't the case. The staff clearly is willing to do what they need to keep him on campus, playing him over Jennings/Lewis wouldn't be out of the question. He isn't staying if we don't give him significant time this year.

He will be a starter next year, so if he doesn't play a lot this year, why would he leave.
Lewis and Jennings know the defense and are 1st round caliber players. I don't see how they don't start if their healthy.
Don't forget about Chris Allen, he might be the best of the bunch. Bama is loaded at OLB. If they all stay healthy, they are going to kill QB.

Take this quarter, go downtown, and have a rat gnaw that thing off your face! Good day to you, madam.

Saban will play the players that give us the best chance to win, period. And Anoma to my eye looked like a monster in Aday and looked to be starting.

Sometimes that means players that know better than players that might be better.
He plays not to lose a lot, someone like Anoma was a guy who couldn't they couldn't trust on the field to not mess up(and the 2 penalties he made while on it didn't help change that perception).
Jennings is the best LB the outside group has, he can be trusted in all facets. Need that dominant rusher though, neither Lewis nor Anoma have lived up to that.

Spin it however you want. It's a safe bet that Anoma plays A LOT in 2019, and plays well.
Saban himself admitted in a presser a few months back that he was wrong not to play Anoma more in the latter part of the 2018 season.

I think Anoma will be a good one, but he needs to put his nose to the grindstone and work. Stop worrying about playing time, once you are ready physically AND mentally...you will be on the field. No doubt. Focus on the process.

He ain’t wrong. ZERO pressure on Lawrence all night. Hopeful Lewis,Jennings, and Anoma can fix it

Hey Boz can I please get an update on the womens volleyball team. Pics would be nice.

I totally agree with that. Kid just had to wait the 3 seconds for our fearless number 4 to be burnt and off to the races.
I hope our Baltimore Native is what he says he is.
