A forfeit by both teams

One thing to consider is Clemson is the one much more likely to keep this level up. LSU is more likely to fall off. Especially given the absolute dog shite of a conference Clemson plays in.

LSU

I don’t feel good about it because LSU is a divisional rival we have to deal with every year. but Clemson needs to be brought down a peg. Don’t want to see another dynasty happening and it makes me angry that Clemson could have one with that shite conference they play in. While LSU will always be good, I don’t *think* they can maintain this every year.

There’s no good answer to this one though. It’s like the South Park episode where the Presidential candidates are a shite-sandwich and giant douche.

Was rooting for OU then OSU.

I think LSU would be the lesser of the 2 evils.

An LSU win will stave off the Clemson dynasty talk.

Plus, LSU is less of a threat. 2019 LSU is 2010 AU. They are just an OC and a transfer QB with not much else behind them. You don't get the feeling LSU is building anything like Alabama or Clemson. More of a flash in the pan.

Clemson is the only program besides Alabama that consistently recruits nationally that can go into any state and pluck out top 10 recruits.

Plus next year will be that much more fun for Alabama to beat LSU.

Long story short...
LSU isn't as much of a threat to Alabama if they win.

LSU will return to their typical 9-3 level of above averageness once Brady leaves. Clemson will continue to go 13-0 en route to the playoffs. Neither will change based on the outcome of the game in 2 weeks.

Neither. I can watch the game in a detached fashion.

As much as it PAINS me to say this; geaux tigers. I'm tired of Dabo and his schtick plus I think Clemson poses the biggest threat to us in recruiting and keeping the dynasty alive. I expect/hope that LSU takes a step back next year and we get our revenge in Bryant-Denny West.

We are living in the worst timeline.

LSU and it isn't even close. I loathe Dabo Swinney and the people that act like he does it different. He's a cutthroat just like every other coach at a top program. His Jimmy Swaggart/Joel Osteen schtick has always rubbed me the wrong way as well. Hope O keeps his foot on the gas 60 minutes and lights Clemson up.

Not rooting for either one per se

I would like to see LSU take it as I believe they have definitely earned it. It's impossible to really deny anything LSU accomplished. Clemson plays such a sorry arse schedule and in such a weak conference its like they have an automatic bid every year.

The less championships Clemson has the better because they’re going to continue to make the final two.

But I can’t bring myself to cheer for LSU

I’m just gonna watch Bama play Michigan, then be done with football until next season.

I say that, but admittedly it would be nice to see LSU wipe the floor with Clemson.

Clemson. A Natty by another team in the SEC that’s not Alabama hurts Bama’s recruiting & stronghold on the league. Clemson wins, doesn’t bother Bama much at all.

I don’t know how anyone can associate with the LSU fans on this website then wish them a championship.
