Out these 5-star recruits who do you think Bama will get if you had to predict: Sanders, Webb, Wright, Neal, Sopsher, Dean, Hill, Thib ?
Out of those eight i think we only get sanders, webb and wright.

Also, Sopsher and Hill.
Dean seems too high maintance of a recruit to be picking Alabama. He reminds me of the DL man out of FL years ago Ce Ce Jefferson. Alabama does not normally get those type recruits.

'Something pretty cool': Metro Birmingham boasts elite 2019 QB class
quote:
Pinson Valley head coach Patrick Nix has spent three decades as a football player, coach and recruiter in Alabama. He's seen numerous great quarterbacks during that time, but nothing quite like the state's 2019 crop of passers.
"Other than my class, I don't think there was one that was quite this good," the former Etowah High and Auburn quarterback said with a laugh during Birmingham Media Days on Tuesday.
"Recruiting for a long time in Alabama, no, I don't remember there being this many good quarterbacks in the state, much less Birmingham. I think the Birmingham metro area, right now, talent-wise, is about as good as it's been since I can remember."
Nix's son, Bo, is a four-star Auburn commitment and the nation's top dual-threat quarterback, according to 247Sports. He is one of three Alabama quarterbacks to be ranked No. 1 at his position in the past nearly two decades, joining Hueytown's Jameis Winston (No. 1 dual threat in 2012) and Westbrook's Christian's Brodie Croyle (No. 1 pro style in 2001). Bo is part of an elite Birmingham metro quarterback class, along with four-star Alabama commitments Taulia Tagovailoa of Thompson and Paul Tyson of Hewitt-Trussville, the No. 6 and No. 13 pro-style passers in the nation, respectively.
"We were part of the Elite 11, so that's pretty special; Alabama's never had that before," Bo said. "I think it's good for the state of Alabama. It just shows that Alabama may not have the type of football that Texas and California have, because of population, but we still produce good players."
Tagovailoa and Tyson will go head-to-head Oct. 26 in a Class 7A, Region 3 game. This will be their first meeting as Thompason and Hewitt-Trussville were in different regions last season. Nix will not face Tagovailoa or Tyson..
"It's a blessing," Tagovailoa said of being part of the trio. "I wish I could compete with both of them. It's going to be pretty cool to play against Paul this year. I just look forward to the competition."
Bo transferred to Pinson Valley from Scottsboro prior to last season after Patrick switched head coaching jobs. Bo completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,872 yards and 35 touchdowns against just four interceptions while leading Pinson Valley to a 15-0 record and the Class 6A state championship.
Thompson went 12-1 and lost to eventual state champ Hoover in the semifinals. Tagovailoa recorded a 62.4 percent completion rate and totaled 3,823 yards and 35 touchdowns with eight picks, and was named 7A Back of the Year. It was his first season at Thompson after his family moved from Hawaii so they could be closer to his brother, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
"I'm super comfortable; this is home for me," Taulia said. "I've felt that way ever since I first set foot here."
Tyson, the great-grandson of Bear Bryant, was also a first-year starter in 2017. He completed 71 percent of his passes for 3,392 yards with 36 touchdowns and four interceptions as Hewitt-Trussville went 11-1 and lost to Hoover in the quarterfinals.
"Now (the first season) is behind me and I can focus on the season ahead," Tyson said. "Coach (Josh) Floyd put me in a position all year to be successful. This year, it's more of just being hungry, going out there, being ready to compete and doing the best that I can."
When asked about being part of the Birmingham quarterback class, Tyson was quick to credit those around him.
"It's really something pretty cool and an honor to have," he said. "Really, I couldn't be anything without my receivers and offensive line. And the coaching staff; they put me in positions to be successful. Honestly, my job really isn't that hard; just get the ball to playmakers and let them do the work."
Birmingham's quarterback talent doesn't stop with Nix, Tagovailoa and Tyson. Calera 6-foot-5 senior Cornelious Brown is rated three stars and counts Alabama, Vanderbilt and Rutgers among his offers. Because Alabama has Tagovailoa and Tyson locked up, Brown said that the Crimson Tide coaching staff offered him a "gray-shirt type of deal," meaning he could postpone joining the team until after the 2019 season and receiver a scholarship later.
"I know the time's coming pretty soon; I've kind of narrowed it down," Brown said of his commitment. "I like Alabama. Tennessee is knocking on the door. If I preform the way I should the first few games, then I should be hearing from them."
Brown had a 59.4 percent completion rate with 2,334 yards and 25 touchdowns as Calera went 7-5 in Class 5A (the Eagles move up to 6A this season). He is coached by former Alabama quarterback Andrew Zow.
"I've watched a lot of film this summer so that I won't make the same mistakes that I did last year," Brown said. "Last year was pretty much my first year in the system; I only played three games my sophomore year. I was making freshman mistakes and sophomore mistakes as a junior; not doing simple things. Coach Zow really brings out the best in me because his standard for me is so high; that only makes me better."

Yes I am, but this is a message board, not a scholarly paper, presentation or email, I don't always proofread. If I was getting paid my true worth for this position I would be more attentive
.
In reality though, I make a lot of phone calls instead of sending emails cause I think way faster than I type so I end up having to proofread for typos on average like 3 times. After 5 minutes I say screw it and pick up the phone.

Grades are a concern. He almost transferred to Hewitt-Trussville but Hoover convinced him they can get him qualified
AU still feels confident he will stick but Bama & FSU are considered legitimate threats
