PI in college? So he's a red blooded American male. NBD, unless he was showing his arse with the authorities (which I haven't read anything like that).

Yea, I hope the charges are dropped as long as he wasn't being a prick to the cops. I've never heard a bad thing about the kid. Surge knows more about him and has always had good things to say about him

Ray made a mistake. Just a goofy mistake. I hope folks aren't too hard on him and I hope that he isn't too hard on his self.

My son (Ray's DL coach in HS) has talked to him. He said LaBryan truly feels bad about it but he's a'ight. Learning from it -- to not let himself make bad choices like that again. He'll be fine. Very intelligent and a fine young man.

I don't know why they grabbed Ray, pretty sure there were a thousand other kids they could have gotten

Assuming that Christian Williams is being genuine in that he's locked into Bama, do we still have room for To'oto'o and Sopsher on top of our other commits who haven't signed, since Tyson and Reichard apparently haven't technically signed?

I really don’t think they expected Mack to leave yet so that might open another slot up, at least on the 85 man roster. I know it doesn’t change the yearly number but it’s something.

It appears we can take 29, including Tyson and Reichard, without blue or grayshirts. We have 28 signees and commits counting Tyson, Reichard, Robinson, Young, Bogle and Williams. To'oto'o gets a spot. So if we sign another DL, TE or WR, maybe Williams could blueshirt to allow for 30.

The only downside to him blueshirting is that he'd have to wait until fall camp starts to join the team. He could still get a fall scholarship, but it would count toward 2020's initial counters limit. But I'm not certain Bama can blueshirt players. This Note provides a more detailed explanation.

EVAN NEAL - 5-STAR OT

"Neal is a rare prospect at an important position and that helps his case. Offensive tackles that stand 6-foot-7 and move well despite weighing 350 pounds have to try incredibly hard to avoid the first-round of the NFL Draft, so the Alabama signee seems like a safe bet for the top 10.

"He won’t grab the headlines or create the buzz like some of the running backs, receivers or defensive backs at the top of the Rivals100, but his bust factor seems incredibly low. Neal will drop his remaining bad weight in a conditioning program and be off the NFL in three seasons. Let’s not overthink this."

Neal and Alfano are my two favorite players in this class. They're both big and mean. We need more big and mean guys on our OL and DL.

Surge, you're a damn Saint. You stay in top of these numbers and do you best to keep us ignorant asswipes informed. I pray that I have half the patience that you have, one of these days
