The team wear devices that measure their load, acceleration and how much effort they are giving. Seems maybe the new coaching staff was not sold on how to use the information or never really learned how to use it and interpret the results on the field when comparing it to the data.
I do not believe Bama is the only team that uses these devices or data points; but, if the coaches have not been properly introduced and they didn't buy in, then they will use what they are comfortable with and go with what they know.

His lack of effort in a NC is disappointing.

Y'all send some thoughts this way. Tornado ripped through our neighborhood in wetumpka earlier. Downtown completely destroyed. Missed our house by a couple of blocks. I dont think there was any fatalities.

was working a double team with Fletcher
Which shows how pathetic Owens was. He didn’t come off the ball and just caught the DT. If he comes of the ball and boxes off that gap like he should he can’t make that play.

Prayers for everyone hit by the storm.

Rivals Rankings Week: Five storylines to follow down the stretch (segments)

CLASS OF 2019 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | State | Position | Team
After a number of major changes in the Rivals 2019 rankings, it’s time to take a look at the and see what are some of the biggest storylines heading into the final few weeks of the 2019 cycle.
WHO WILL BE THE CHAMPS?
Alabama is looking to return as National Recruiting Champions after missing out on the top spot last year, with conference rival Georgia taking home the hardware. Once again it’s the Dawgs and the Tide battling for the top spot, with Alabama currently holding the edge. The Tide have seven more four-stars and one more five-star than the Dawgs, meaning it’s going to be a tough deficit for Georgia to make up with only a few spots left in the class. However, there are a lot of moving parts and if the Dawgs can land big targets like five-star wide receiver George Pickens, it could make things interesting down the stretch.

Sanders is good. I think we need Heimuli.
Not ours, but I think Peter Parrish is going to be a very good player.

To'oto'o is there but he isn't playing. He's still recovering from a broken foot.

Our guys have looked good imo

Heimuli is a stud!! I’m not sure if his side line to side line speed but he’s a missle. If we miss on To’ and get him I believe he’s just as good. His highlights speak for himself!!

Menlo (Calif.) Atherton linebacker Daniel Heimuli (uncommitted) was named Defensive Polynesian Bowl MVP after a game-high six tackles, including 4.5 for loss for Team Mauka. Heimuli is considering Alabama, Oregon, UCLA, Utah and Washington.
