That all may be the case, but I would have thought Kentucky fans would have some perspective with the way their basketball program recruits nationally. They look like LSU fans with "damn them if they leave" but it's okay if they come from elsewhere to Louisiana. Of course, I also understand wanting to keep a top prospect at home. But the "playing time" angle always makes me chuckle.

hard to believe. saban can say we will put you in the nfl, you will most likely win a NC during you time, and you will not be run to death because we always do RB by committee.

So I see we have 22 recruits. Will we take a full 25 or will we be limited? Where do we stand numbers-wise?

27 is supposedly the number with 2 backcounters, Bo being 1.

Likely to lose both commits from LA for 2015...

Charlot and Moton? Are they leaning toward LSU, Arky, or A&M?

How will we stay under 85? Looking at our roster, I really only expect Collins, Cooper, and Yeldon to go pro. I don't think to many more people have the ability to.

Yeah, I count about 14 seniors based on eligibility. Add in Coop/Yeldon/Collins so that's about 17 guys moving on for sure.

18 with Reed (thanks Phaz)!

I heard an interview with Keaton Anderson and Kerryon Johnson on radio today, promoting Alabama/Mississippi All Star game. Keaton said he wanted to play LB at Bama, but they may use him at safety. He said he didn't care, he just wanted to be able to help the team anyway he could. He sounded like a pretty intelligent guy. I saw him the other day and he reminds size wise of Vinnie Sunseri.

Charlot is looking hard at LSU, gonna be very hard to keep him.

Moton has grade issues since he committed, and a lack of improvement may leave him out of this class one way or another.

The rest will work itself out, always does. Some guys are buried on the depth chart, then there's a guy like Fretaig who looks unlikely to return due to legal matters.

That sucks, but good for him. He'll be a solid NFL player. Won't get a lot of sacks imo, but could be a force against the run.

It's been the comparison for him, he's very smart, rangy, and fast as a player. Not quite built for a Bama LB, but can contribute on the back end at safety and possibly subpackages at Money/STAR.

Gotta like this kid

@AndrewJBone: #Alabama five-star commitment Blake Barnett told the coaching staff not to waste time visiting him. Told them to focus on others. #Solid
