Yeah, no.
On the plays that he holds onto it for a long arse time, it's usually because someone isn't getting open and unlike the scrubs he isn't gonna force something and risk an INT.

Yeah, actually he does do this. The TD to KB7 in the a day game is just another example. I know AJ completed that TD pass but it was a horrible play on his part. He threw that ball roughly 20 yds late. Bell had gotten free at about the 30 and AJ didn't throw it till he was at the 10, gave Cyrus Jones time to come all the way across the field to try and make a play. Why? Because he was watching the primary receiver for way to long.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this. AJ generally doesn't make the wrong decision, he just sometimes makes the right one too late. You rarely see him cycle his progressions quickly and with authority. Of course you rarely see any college QB do that. I'm not trying to knock the kid in any way. He's the best QB I've ever seen at Bama. I just don't see him as a top fifteen type NFL prospect. He can change that, though.
