Play action number is kind of interesting - probably partly how hard Miami was crashing, partly our OL's up and down performance and partly Bryce himself. Mac loved play action, almost like it was a get in rhythm type thing. Bryce feels like more of a maneuver the pocket to his liking to adjust defenders downfield to get better throwing lanes. He did that multiple times yesterday.

I hate to say this, because he did play well, but I think this was due to his height. We have some monstrous offensive linemen, I understand how difficult seeing around could be.

I also would have liked to see him get rid of the ball quicker, he tended to hold it longer than 4 seconds while sliding. Can probably blame it more on BoB, he called a lot of slower developing stuff in the route trees.

I was wondering about that. It is pretty much impossible to tell watching on TV. I was thinking the receivers aren't giving him any help and getting open? If they are blitzing and crashing eight down how come no one is getting open?

Damn impressive to be honest.

Do think Miami was a tough matchup early with all their crazy blitz packages.

Those under pressure numbers are truly impressive as he took some big hits in this game
