You are a weird dude. If I were going to lie about it, I'd deny it.

edit: Hell, I'm the one that told it or you'd never even known it.

No change on my end folks. The comment about the media not seeing the trio is normal. We do weird things for the media I have personally witnessed including QB rotation, WR rotation etc.

Miller has been practicing for weeks in a non contact capacity.

As far as I know and have been told Miller and Mack could play, Lewis is close behind.

Saban has an ace in the hole, he likely won't come out and say they are playing or not unless one of them gets re injured and then makes that statement.

Also keep in mind if these guys come in it will most definitely be on a pitch count.

A pitch count would work for Miller and Lewis as pass rushers. I guess Mack would just rotate in with Moses.

You’re extremely weak. I don’t give a shite what you’ve done in your life up to this point because whatever it was it made the bitch we have to deal with when reading about our beloved Jalen and the Tide.

Nevermind that yours is the first reference to Jalen Hurts in this thread.

Irony is ironical.

Huddie's story could be true , I knew people getting caught in some backwater parrish in LA and after paying a huge "fine" to the courts they were let go.You get the local lawyer close to the judge and work it out.

Do you work for Bama football? If this has been answered before then I'm sorry. I didn't see it.

Oh yeah. It's absolutely true. There has been no reason to bring it up on this board, but when things of the sort come up on other boards, in context, I've never been shy about talking about my own experiences.

Since the odd fellow brought it up (and he knew it from another board where I told about it): Back in 1979 I was a poor college student and met a guy in school that was from Miami. We started going down to his place and coming back with some decent weed. The more money we made, the more we'd bring back. It got pretty lucrative till the local constabulary put the stop to it. How does the old ARS tune go? "Dealing up and down the highway till they caught me with a heavy load".

As previously noted, it cost me a ton of money to get out of that one. That my stepDad was long time mayor of the town where I lived (and popped) and that he was buddies with all the county guys and a business partner with the county DA didn't exactly hurt.

Anyway, it was actually one of the best things to happen to me in my lifetime, though at the time I didn't quite have that perspective. It taught me, though, that I couldn't cut corners, and that I would have to work for the good things. Plus, doing that was nerve racking. It stressed the heck out of me. That's obviously not good. It did cause for me, too, some practical problems. I eventually had 3 college degrees but that fiasco precluded me from teaching college level, which I'd planned to do, or from most jobs in the business world. Honestly, I'd probably have had a tough time with that anyway. I'm a little stubborn, don't have a lot of patience with jerks or slackers, and posters on this board may be surprised, but I'm fairly opinionated.

After graduate school I settled into residential construction and have made a decent living for my family. I have no regrets. Well, I am also a musician and kind of regret turning down a CBS executives offer to go to New York and cut a record (no guarantees of anything), but I was making money building houses and had a family, so I didn't do it. It's ok, because I'm still building houses, own rental property, and still have the family. It's all good.

Nice. What kind of music do you sing?

I've been playing since I was a teen, and for most of that time, I have played rock, including original bands and cover bands. The last few years, though, I have been playing some country, mostly classic but some newer music too. I love blues but there's not much of a paying audience for that so it's hard to find other musicians that want to play much of it.

edit: Probably too old to still be doing it, but it's hard to quit. Still make decent money at it too. Weddings, private parties, and events pay ok for 3 hours work. Honestly, though, I'd play for nothing. In fact, I'd rather play free benefits on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon than play for pay at night and drag home at 2:30 or 3 a.m.

Na man, you are never to old to do something that you love, if you are able to. I enjoy playing blues as well.

It’s all starting to make sense.

Dont believe you about you slanging drugs and don’t believe any CBS executive wanted to cut a record with you lol

I do believe you’re a weakminded type that would feel lonely and desperate in college and prolly had a little extra money and you got caught up with dealers that like to take advantage of kids like you and you got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and daddy bailed you out.

But you being a actual dealer is extremely comical to me.

Could you imagine?

Yo Huddie what’s good?
“Nothing much, just sitting at the crib hating on Hurts, you know, the usual, how much you need bo?”

I need a quack, you got?

“O hell yeah I do, I’m huddie mcbuddy and I got the goods”

It was pot, man. It's an herb.

Not sure what is nuttier. The dork that thought he was revealing some guarded secret, in spite of the fact I was the source for his info, or this dummy that thinks it's all made up, but for why, I just am not sure.

For a split second I thought o shite huddie has linked the song that impressed a CBS executive so much he wanted to cut a album with him, but then a clicked it. Great joke though.

Just to be clear, I didn't say album. I said a record, as in demo record to pitch to the record company. It was in the mid 80s and my band was opening for ex headliners like The Guess Who, Black Oak Arkansas, Humble Pie, etc. All they were going to pay was my airfare, my meals, and my board. I was to cut a record with studio musicians and as noted, there was no guarantee whatsoever. That ain't no big thing. I have buddies that did actually get record deals and they didn't make much money either. It's the headliners that make money in music. The average run of the mill musician or bands are doing it more than anything because they just love it.
