No one knows the severity of his break on this board. What I can tell you is my daughter is a dancer and she broke the fifth metatarsal in her foot doing a leap or some crap. I don't know what it was called but point is she was nonweightbearing for 3 months on that foot. I doubt seriously he is ready to play this week. If he is it won't be full speed nor will Miller and Lewis. They just wil not be game ready after missing a whole season. We will still be very undermanned against a really good Auburn team. Hopefully we get their Mercer effort and not their Georgia effort.

It's hard to say with Mack.I have broken my right foot twice in almost the same area. The first time was when I was 16 years old. I was in a boot for 2 months and no strenuous activity for 3 months. I broke it again at age 34. The doc called it a Jones Fracture. I was in a boot for 3 weeks and ran the Pikes Peak Ascent 6 weeks post break. There are a ton of variables to consider when talking about a foot fracture. Variables that we largely have no knowledge of in Mack's case. If he comes back and he's effective without hurting himself further. That's great! If not, I am sure that the coaches have a plan. Either way, hopefully Dylan plays like he did last week. That kid was a monster out there!

nor will Miller and Lewis

Bro they injured their arms nearly three months ago and have been able to run/condition the entire time they've been injured.

When they return, they will be ready to go. no questions asked.

I'd gladly take the RESULTS, but don't be deceived by the final score. They put up better offensive numbers against Mercer than they did against Georgia. The only reason the game didn't look like our Mercer game was that they kept fumbling the ball.

That would be an amazingly fast recovery from a broken foot

Without knowing the exact nature of the injury, it's impossible to say the above.

It could've been a simple hairline fracture. Place a few pins, wait a few weeks for good fusion, and play with a bit of pain. Manage the pain pharmacalogically. You guys are acting like miracles are happening and you don't know anything about the injury.

Not really. Pikes Peak Ascent is essentially a power hike and the only reason I did it is because I had spent around $700 on hotel and race fees. That was 6 hours of stupidity and misery. I finished right behind a blind dude. Now that guy was a monster.

I want au, and every other team we play, to play their absolute best. That way, a Bama W means something.

Desiring to get a victory against only bad opponents isn't sporting or American. It's cowardly and a waste of time.

So you wanted Cam to be eligible in 2010? That's moronic. I was hoping he was suspended so we could beat their arse and end their title hopes. A win is a win.

No, it's not.

Is Ali remembered for beating George Logan or Duke Sabedong? No, he's remembered as the greatest for fighting the likes of George Foreman and Joe Frazier in their prime, usually but not always winning.

Victory is nothing without the chance of defeat.

You are weak and disgust me.

Lol, so you'd rather lose to a healthy Auburn team than beat an injured one?

I'll wave to you from the trophy podium.

I'd rather beat a healthy one. But then, I don't assume usually Auburn is better than us.

There must be a lot of fans who can't enjoy our win over Texas in 2009 because Colt got hurt.

That's sickening.

Strawman!

Nobody said you can't enjoy a win. What happens, happens. But, I don't go in hoping to get any team at less than full strength. I also don't cheat at games just because nobody is looking. I like to win straight up.

Ya but if someone is distracting themselves while playing chess for example, i'm not going to remind them to pay attention when i'm obviously creating an easy checkmate. I'll go ahead and make my moves and let them know they may want to pay more attention next time after my victory. (Just a simple example).

If Auburn doesn't want to bring their A-game, well fine by me. (I also find it very likely that Auburn does in fact bring their A-game in this situation).

Any more updates on our injuries?

I was told by someone who usually knows his stuff that Wilson actually has a better chance of playing this week than Lewis. He said he thought all three would play but that Lewis was the most questionable.
