Surprised he didn't go play for Kiffin.

yeah, and especially since he's going to be in South Florida. Perhaps Kiffin has plans for another transfer qb. hmmm. Jokes aside, it would be interesting to see 2 former UA qbs playing each other.

Blake screwed up. His wife is entirely too close to casa de Kiffin now.

I guess they consider it south enough to be The University of South Florida, but geography aside, I just thought it was odd that he would be at Alabama, travel so far west to Arizona State, and then come back to Florida and not play for Kiffin. I guess FAU must have a pretty good qb or 2 already coming back, or maybe Kiffin and Barnett didn't get on so well by the time Barnett split UA.

I just want to go on record, again, and say I was never a fan of Blake Barnett.

I'd like to go on the record as the opposite. He endeared himself to me during his recruiting process, especially when he became one of those kids who helped us recruit other athletes like Damien Harris. On social media, he still retweets Alabama stuff and chats with his old teammates. Just a sad situation of a program with multiple 5 star qbs and only one position.

Someone's going to lose out. But the program must always win.

Now that's he's got a little one to support, I wish him the best, maybe USF will get him to the league (national or canadian.)

Blake Barnett did everything right at Alabama except have a small tantrum or 2 while losing the QB battle. It is what it is.

Regarding his transferring a second time, it likely has more to do with his skill set not fitting the new regime's offense than running from another QB competition.

But I literally don't care about Blake Barnett unless we play his team in the future. He ain't news to me.

I'm not going to get into it, but there is very little, if any, proof to back up this opinion. There is a lot of proof to refute it, however.
