Blake Barnett is transferring again

He'll be a grad transfer. He is taking an official visit to USF this weekend. Has two years of eligibility left.
I guess what's the weirdest is that the guy who beat him out for the job may very well be transferring, too.

Arizona State wasn't a good fit for him with all of their option concepts last year, and it's anyone's guess what Herm will do on offense there.
I think the best system for Barnett would be a pass happy spread team. I don't think USF fits that.
Central Florida under Heupel would be good, but Milton is firmly the starter there. Purdue with Jeff Brohm would be a good fit. Scott Frost I think could make Barnett succeed too, but I don't know what Nebraska's QB situation is.

I also did realize until yesterday that Barnett and his now wife (the pro surfer) had a baby.

From a quick Instagram timeline search, he must have knocked her up and then they decided to move up their wedding time frame.

Not a surprise. I was actually looking at his stats about a week ago out of curiosity. He actually got more live game reps with Alabama in his 4 games than he did with ASU the entire season last year.
I get the feeling he isn't very coachable.

We dodged a bullet with this guy. He’s seems like your prototypical California QB who has been coddled and told since he was 10 that he was the best QB ever.
Honestly, you kind of knew he wasn’t going to pan out when he got married the summer before the 2016 season.
