So guys, is it better to just go ahead and rip the bandaid off this craptacular season end today vs aTm, OR win today but lose to our hated rivals tomorrow and live on a slim bubble hope until those are dashed on selection Sunday?

ETA: My bad, I had given up. But they actually did and won both fricking games! RTR. I deserve the down votes!!

In theory yes, but do we really want to give Auburn the satisfaction?

If we play well enough to beat A&M today we can also beat Auburn.

Bama needs 2 wins to even be considered for the tournament. 3 wins gets them in.

If we get neutral site wins over #24 Texas A&M and #8 Auburn we are in.

I think a win today gets us in.....barely.

We'd be waiting and watching other bubble teams and Sunday would be nerve-wracking. Could probably go either way.

If we win 2, though, we're in. No handwringing IMHO.

I always want us to win. While we may be disappointed, these kids that wear the Crimson deserve our support.

Bama needs a win today in the biggest way.
I expect to be disappointed.

I fully expect to be disapoointed to, but College Basketball is such a weird different animal than football.

Avery Johnson has the smallest of doors possible, but it's still there. They can turn this ENTIRE season around in the next few weeks.

Beating A&M and giving us pretty solid odds of getting in the dance is good.

Beating Auburn, evens the series and LOCKS us into the tournament, that's great.

Going any further in the tournament is historic in terms of our recent SEC Tournament performance, that's awesome.

And obviously, turning the team hot for the NCAA tournament would eradicate the late season collapse form most of the football fanbase's memory.

Gotta win and hope for tomorrow. After all, Bama beat AU at Coleman and AU barely eaked out a 19 pt. W at superBarn.

We may need one more quality loss to get in the NCAAs.
