Why even draft the kid (and pay him) to have him as a healthy scratch each week? They have like umpteen RBs on that roster.

It is even worse because Burkhead is hurt and they still refuse to activate him for a game. I get him being behind Michel and White but the fact he can't get in over Bolden just doesn't make any sense.
If I know the Patriots (Belichick) this likely has something to do with performance/apperance incentives in Damian's contract.
