Check this out...Bama alumni in the NFL will be getting a care package from “home” with some gear! Seeing the names on these boxes brings back some great memories! Thankful for all they did for Alabama! #family

Courtney UpShaw, Eddy Lacey, Anthony Steen and Austin Shepherd are already out of the league? Thought they would stick around much longer.

Upshaw got chances but he never quite developed into a pass rusher.
Lacy is talented but he got too out of shape and has a bum ankle. Also Seattle was probably the worst place he could’ve gone to last year.
Shepard was a 7th rounder and Steen was UD so neither are surprises however Steen did start a couple games at C 2 years ago I think.
It’s hard to get back in once you fall out since there’s always plenty of younger guys eager get their shot.

Thought Steen and Shepherd had made a place for themselves after making the regular squad and playing quite a bit last year. Steen was getting some praise as a starter too.
Upshaw is a surprise though I realize he was not starting for Atlanta. Shame about Lacy,he should work hard to come back and not waste his talent.

Cyrus Jones has returned to the Patriots, according to the Pat's beat reporter. Cyrus signed a two-year deal worth $1.81M. So he’s under contract through 2019.
Good for him.

One guy I really miss, but glad he's doing good...
Through 2 weeks, JK Scott is the top punter.

Wondered what happened to him. Cyrus really came through his junior and senior year. Hope he can show out now.
Kinda OT, but Cooper had a great game. Carr played out of his mind, but finally started targeting him. Coop has had his problems, but not all of it falls on him. Last year, Todd Downing was promoted as OC, and he wouldn't do anything creative with the offense. It was bland and predictable. He also didn't have as bad of a year with drops as people made it out to be. There would be games Carr refused to go to him. Love Carr, but when he gets pressured, he isn't patient. Saw it week 1 vs the Rams, and last week against Denver in the 2nd half.
Gruden should utilize his talents.

Ridley is going off. 2 TDs on 5 catches with 129 yards at halftime
Wish it wasn't against the saints though
Eta: he just was victim of a PI on like the 5 yard line. Saints cant cover him.
