Nick Saban reiterates that Trey Sanders will make a full recovery but “this is going to be a several month type of thing.” “He had a hip injury, but not the same type that Tua did, so there shouldn’t be any question about his recovery."

Saban also confirmed that Sanders got "T-boned” in the crash and was in the passenger seat.

Nick Saban says Alabama has suffered a “lot less” soft tissue injuries this season with a new sports science/strength staff.

Saban said Jaylen Waddle got his cast off today and is now in a boot. "He told me that he wants to try come back and play, but we're certainly not gonna let that happen until he's fully 100-percent healthy.

Gotta give Waddle credit. He just wants to compete

Nick Saban says he spoke to Gene Stallings after the Iron Bowl loss last year. Stallings told him, “If I were you, I would go recruit the best kicker in the country.” Saban responded, “We got the best kicker in the country. He’s just hurt.”

Bet Saban was thrilled to get that advice

Waddle has missed one game since his injury and he's out of his cast. No way coach Saban continues these types of updates without some type of excitement that Waddle is on the fast track back to the field. In fact, I'm confused somewhat that these updates are being repeated by Saban in the first place. He's out of character.

Agree about Waddle.

Apart from "depth-chart" type issues, he's always been pretty straight-forward regarding injuries and most other issues.

All the early reports were he had a foot injury in the crash, so I didn't understand why he was in a wheelchair. Hip injury makes sense, but sounds scarier.

KY is the only SEC school currently in the top 50 in pass defense, and they wont be after tomorrow.

Waddle hasn't played since he was injured. Why start a debate on whether he's missed 1 game or 2 games?

Not sure I understand the point of any of it. I appreciate Sabans updates on Waddle.
