From that GoVols247 article...

quote:

“Obviously there’s three or four plays in the game that Jarrett would like to have back. Talked about them Saturday after the game. Same thing with J.T. (Shrout),” Pruitt said. “When you look at Brian and Harrison (Bailey), both of these guys were very limited in fall camp, which is one of the reasons we’ve continued to have these scrimmages on Sunday night to try to get these guys kind of caught up, just to give them an opportunity.

There’s nothing like live action, and again, we had a scrimmage last night and both of these guys took reps, so we’ll continue to evaluate that position as the week goes.”

Tenn plays games on Saturday and then scrimmages on Sunday night!?

Has Shane Lee played any meaningful snaps at all this year?

Sark was really good Saturday night.

Ekiyor and Dickerson throwing folks out da club on this slip screen to Waddle: video clip. Jones allowed Najee to get outsiide the tackles, made the slow turn towards him in order to drag the DB's over to the sideline, and rifled one to Waddle while the DB's were leaning and moving in the other direction. It was a simple but ingenius wrinkle that was nearly a long touchdown against the best defense in the country, but it will also make the simple screen to Najee that much more effective throughout the rest of the season. Because every defense will have to keep that play in the back of their minds everytime it is thrown out to Najee.

More mainpulation with motion and an elite skill player. Jones with the little shimmy, Smith sells the block, Stevenson has to honor the potential of quick game to Waddle and the rest is history: video clip.

The official roster info shows Shane Lee played LB some vs Mizzou.

I said it before and this is by no means a shot at Shane Lee. I simply believe he will transfer.

Yeah, Shane Lee is a good kid so I wish him the best. Whether he transfers or not, he needs to get serious with his diet and working off some of his mass/thickness and improve his flexibility and athleticism.

Maybe if I say it, it won't come true but this feels like a perfect example of a trap game. I'm not a Debbie downer, but we just came off a huge win, feeling good about things, meanwhile here comes a team that is probably better than they've been playing and WHAM, we're having to block 2 field goals to scrape by.

I don't trust Tennessee.

Best of luck to Lee whatever happens. Bama has really struggled to sign ILBer since Pruitt left for the mountains.

He stands a better chance of accomplishing that with Rhea and Ballou than anywhere else.

Ishmael Sopsher in Transfer Portal (thread)

I hope Roach and Saban can talk Sopsher into staying and manning up -- for his own sake. I think Ishmael needs Bama's structure, discipline, nutrition/S&C and tough competition for playing time to reach his full potential. He won't reach it by being lazy and taking the easy path.

Dang I hate that. Just a month ago DJ Dale was mentioning how good Sophser was looking and that he had lost a bunch of weight too, down to 310. I think he has a ton of potential, maybe just not a motivated player
