Yea great size probably plays basketball too. Albertville? That's Hannah boys territory isn't it? Which reminds me that the Three Hannah's did not produce a single Alabama worthy next gen football player. Their Dad produced three and the Three of them not one.

If Young can unseat Jones good for him, but other variables, like our running game and questionable defense, will probably play a huge role as to which one actually takes the field against the barners.

Alabama hosted four-star guard Jaeden Roberts last Saturday for Junior Day. It was the Houston (Texas) North Shore product’s first visit to campus outside of camping prior to his junior season. “It was really cool,” Roberts told BOL. “I got to talk to the coaches. Got to sit down and just really speak about the recruiting process.”
The four-star lineman spent most of his trip with offensive line coach Kyle Food. He also spoke to offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian. Nick Saban had a word with Roberts as well. “He was just talking about how they take care of their players and just the process of Alabama and how they do things, how I will fit into the program, and how they will develop me not only as a player but as a person too. That’s what they’re about — making their players better people.”
Defensive backs coach Karl Scott is the area recruiter for North Shore, and a coach Roberts feels he’s close with. “He’s been recruiting me ever since I got the offer... staying in contact with me, letting me know when there are Junior Days, when coaches want to speak with me, stuff like that.”
A Kansas native, Roberts moved to Houston last summer. He’s always had his eye on the Tide, though. “They have a long history of good football and obviously they develop players to go into the league. Not only that, they become great people when they come out of the league and do really good things. They give back to the community. I really liked that the players aren’t good just on the field but also off the field.”
Another factor in UA’s favor is the Tide signing North Shore lineman Damieon George in its 2020 class. “We’re pretty good friends. Ever since I came down here he was kind of like a guide for me. Ever since I joined North Shore he was that person who helped me out when I needed some help. I’d say he’s a kind of a big part of me kind of wanting to go to Alabama. It would be cool to play next to him like we did at North Shore. But he always tells me to do what’s best for me. But I’d say he plays a big part.”
Roberts is aiming toward committing by the end of the summer prior to his senior season. Right now three programs lead the way. “I have a top three that I’m really interested in and building a relationship with so far — Alabama, Oklahoma State, and LSU. Those are probably my main schools that I’m really interested in right now. I’m still waiting on a couple other schools. I’m still going to be taking visits and talk to coaches that I really like. But those are my top three right now.”

on 2/7/20 at 10:25 am to TidalSurge1i was just checking out the top 50 recruits according to 247 and couldn't help but notice we're not favored to land any of them I know this past cycle alot "insiders' and crystal ball projections got exposed but for the most part they have a good idea where a recruit is leaning. the only recruit I care about is the WR Hall who transferred to IMG even the top prospects in state are trending towards auburn basically im just curious who our top priorities are
