I'm going to be at the game in the Auburn student section. What should I expect as a Bama fan?

I would definately recommend wearing a shirt that has "Updyke Tree Service" written on the front. Should make you a lot of friends.

My buddy wore a shirt that said 'Saban bait' in crimson letters in the LSU student section in 2008. Needless to say, he got spit on, drinks poured on him, harassed, etc. Of course, he got the last laugh.

I went in 2011 and sat in the student section. The girl next to me was really sweet. She shared her whiskey with me (they patted me down heading into to the stadium) and gave me her phone number.

If you want to have a good time / not cause trouble, just be respectful and don't be an obnoxious ahole by cheering at people around you
Probably a good idea to not dress head to toe in crimson, but utilize Alabama's secondary colors when possible as well

This sounds like terrible advice for not causing trouble/being the impetus for others to do so
I feel like, philosophically, there needs to be an understanding that even the act of trespassing certain boundaries like that is going to be viewed as antagonistic to some drunk frat stars, so maybe be prepared to take some crap even if you don't dish it out

Keep your mouth closed. Any drinking before hand will probably end up with problems. I got jumped in 2001(I think) but I was running my mouth.

I was there in 09, had a great time. Was in full Bama gear, and wasn’t an a-hole to anybody, everybody was nice.
