Are any of you hoping Auburn wins Saturday?

I am, and it works on two levels:

1) I’m married to an UGA family. The way they act on the SECRant is the way they act in real life: haven’t accomplished jack shite since 1980, but think they’re an unstoppable force who belongs in the upper echelon of football teams with the likes of Bama, USC, and Ohio State.

2) The only way we get a rematch on a neutral field with Aubie is if they win Saturday. I know that’s only one piece to a difficult puzzle, but man I’d kill for a semifinal or national championship Iron Bowl pt II.

You’re right about UGA fans, but I can’t bring myself to root for Auburn. I also doubt that the committee wants any rematches.

Hell no. I'll be a huge f'n UGA fan this Saturday

1) I've lived in Georgia most of my life. Most of my friends are UGA fans. I hope they pound those bastards from Lee County.

2) I despise Auburn. As noted before, if they play the Nazis, I'll find me a SS cap on ebay.

I am. I hope Auburn blows them out again because that means our only loss was on the road by 12 to a top 2-3 team.

Then I hope we go to the playoffs on opposite sides of the bracket, we both win, and in the Championship game Alabama manages to NOT play their worst game of the season while getting a 21-0 type revenge win on the Tigers for the 'ship.

But that's just me.

Nope! Pulling for TCU, Georgia, and Ohio State that day (though if TCU wins early in the day I may swap to pulling for Wisconsin).

Most hilarious thing possible would be to troll Auburn fans that both of their rivals made the playoffs despite their regular season wins.

I want Auburn to win actually, because if we get in I want a rematch. If we win that in the playoffs or title game these idiots won't get to beat their chests for a whole year.

I'll never root for Auburn, unless they're playing a good Tennessee team. I'd like a rematch with them though, but I honestly don't like our chances this year against playoff teams.

Don't care.

I'm a Bama fan but I don't outright hate Auburn (some of their fans are hard to stomach) or any other SEC team. I'll only pick a side in a game when it absolutely helps Alabama. In this case, I don't think the result of that game will play a significant difference in whether or not Bama gets in the playoffs so I'm just going to sit back and watch a football game with no emotional investment.

I live in Atlanta and have no problems whatsoever with Georgia fans.

And no, I'm not rooting for Auburn to win. Why would I ever do that outside of a scenario in which it inflicted more harm on Tennessee than joy for Auburn?

I don't care who wins on Saturday. Probably won't watch unless I've got nothing to do.

I'm not rooting for Auburn to win. I'm hoping for a rematch where Alabama pounds the shite out of them.

If UGA wins, well then I hope they drop 50 and make Malzahn cry.

My wishes and hopes, though they may not be realized are the following:

UGA exacts revenge on AU
OSU Beats Wisconsin

CFP Selection Committe puts both UGA and Bama in and AU and OSU get left out. The weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth will be glorious.

Yeah. I don't see no way, no how, that Auburn winning the conference and getting a playoff berth is good for Alabama, if for no other reason than it will help them in recruiting.

Maybe the ground will open and swallow both of them.

ehheh. I would say take Tennessee with you, but I'm pretty sure they're on the way there already, so they got a jump on it.

I am, because Auburn winning makes our loss look a little better and we're going to need every bit of help to get into the playoff.

ETA: Now if it turns out that Wisconsin and OU end up winning, then hell no frick Auburn
