Anyone expect to see anything much different than we've seen all football season?

Outside of more tweaking of the OL lineup, I'm not expecting anything other than what's occurred all season, on either side of the ball.

Bunch more ill-timed blitzes to leave the Georgia WRs wide open.
Unimaginative offensive plays where BY will be running for his life, if he gets the opportunity to escape the pressure.
More or less a very conservative game plan.
Perhaps it will still be enough for the win, we'll just see.

Doubt we see much different TBH. That is not our MO, never really works out that way.

Maybe, just maybe even more empty sets and a faster tempo. But that would not be too far off what we already do

After 3 or 4 games you are what you are.

No. I would hope for the best and expect the worst. I'm not feeling very confident and I'm usually pretty upbeat. Not this time.

No. I expect us to do some things well and some things poorly, with each side of the ball taking turns looking competent, and me getting increasingly pissed at the playcalling throughout the game. I think how competitive the game is will largely depend on how tight UGA plays.

After his injuries, I'd love to see Sanders come out and go for 150 yards with a couple of TD's. Doubt it happens, but I'd like it to.

Not really. We MIGHT start with a slightly different offensive script... one trying to go fast or throw in a few wrinkles... but, even if we try that, I'd expect we'll revert to usual really quickly, right once we reach the end of the script.

As much as I want to believe we will have some specific calls to attack what we've studied and seen from Georgia or that we have done some self-scouting and made adjustments to what we have been doing all year to break tendencies and confuse Georgia, I'm sorry to say I don't believe any of that. We will do what we have been doing and hopefully our athletes will make something happen.

ETA: I just reread my post and now I'm depressed.

I think we have some designed qb runs...I mean we haven't ran him all year (by design) and Georgia along with everyone else knows Bryce hates to run.

I don't know that we have to a lot of different things to win. What we have to do is execute.

The front 7 needs to stop the run like they have most of the year. Force Bennett to beat us, just like we have other QBs to do this season. Put him in a situation that he hasn't really had to be in this season.

The offensive line needs to do the same task it has been assigned to do all year long - protect consistently. They just have to do it better than they've been doing it, but they don't have to do something they haven't been trying to do the entire season.

Get into a showdown of QBs (hopefully protect Bryce) and see which QB can win the game.

Nope. 11-1 in a rebuild year. It is what it is and we still have a shot at it all.

I’m expecting a complete first half disaster and we fall behind by 17 points. We battle back in the 4th. Whether it’s enough to win I don’t know.

The only thing I can think of is if our offense just goes spread+tempo to keep GA on their heals. That 400lb nose guard isn't built for an attempt to re-invent DeShawn Watson era Clemson style play.

If Bryce keeps sitting back there reading the defense only to snap it with 2 seconds left, he's gonna get plowed.

I expect to see some wrinkles with the offense and maybe some quicker personnel at WR.

I definitely think if we need to change something. We will.

Tua came in for Jalen.
Jalen came in for Tua.

If you think about it. The past two UGA games have been 'Bama going against the status quo and UGA losing.

But will we do it at the begin of the game this time?

Maybe we don’t and that is the best thing to do. See if our normal game plan will work, if it doesn’t, come out with Milroe running, uper fast pace, six wide, crazy stuff. Maybe not all at the same time though.

First and foremost the biggest factor to Bama's success is UGA just not coming out sharp. If they choke a bit that is the biggest reason we'll have a shot.

On our end, I feel the following few points will be crucial for us...

- Have an 'on' game where we are in the groove and not making the mistakes of dropping catchable throws, botching snaps and holds, penalties like delay of game etc, and turning the ball over. The lack of execution on the basic fundamentals has really hurt us directly and indirectly with how it kills any momentum we get going. We need to play a game fundamentally sound.

- We need some type of ability to run so it's not predictable passing the entire game. I think we need our runners to look towards the outside a bit as our line is not going to allow them up them middle, and we definitely need to execute some design QB run plays... Bryce doesn't like to run but watching him scramble running horizontally back and forth completely lost is so frustrating. Let's give him so plays designed for him to commit to the run and go forward and get us 6-7 yards. We need SOMETHING to help balance the pass game that is really all we have to attach with. Bryce scrambling for 5 yards at the right times can do a lot for us.

- Hopefully our coaching staff has found some tweaks with our players to make the O-Line just a bit more capable. That extra 1.5 seconds allows Bryce to find receivers and also find a route to run for some yards (to my previous point).

- Bryce needs to play most of the game the way he played Auburn right at the end of the game in regards to getting rid of the ball under pressure and not taking the sack for a loss. Throw the ball away Bryce. If it unfolds that the O-Line isn't going to be able to stop the pressure then he needs to be confident in getting the ball thrown away and avoid those negative yards.

I'm realizing as I'm writing this that everything I mentioned is on the offense. That is unusual as we have mostly been emphasizing defensive shortcomings.... BUT, the defense seems to have actually played pretty damn well the past game or so. We just need them to show up with confidence that they are much improved since the beginning of the year and believe that they can stop the Dogs. Really they just need to play exactly how the did against Auburn.

Hopefully the coaches are having a good day of feeling out the matchups and can make good play calls.

Thanks some of my thoughts. Any issues you guys see with my take?

Well hopefully our best WR doesn’t get ejected
again and the young WR that came up clutch last week was a nice surprise. Maybe they have a couple more guys waiting in the wings. The defense is playing better too. Roll Tide.

I don’t expect to see much different. If the secondary can not bust more than a time or two, and if the OL finds their balls, it could be a close game. But I haven’t seen anything this whole year that makes me think both of those things will happen.

Secondary has improved id say a good bit. OL will have to play outside themselves.
