I hate scalping. I like to have a ticket in hand before I go to T town. I am high strung and scalping stresses me the eff out. I like to know the plan when I commit.

There are so many bad seats in coleman, I won't go to a game without knowing my seat ahead of time. If you do buy outside, take a seating chart printout with you.

Yep. Those scalpers will try to convince you the seats are a lot better than they are. Corners and above around row 30 on the sides are worthless seats. May as well just stay home if that's all you can find.

If it’s a single you’re looking for you can usually get a free one at a basketball game by standing outside the main entrance (lots of folks have an extra).

I’d still take a seating chart like they said (especially if you’re trying to find more than 1 ticket).

I have to disagree there. I have season tickets on row 33 and they are terrific seats, IMO.

All the seats are so much closer than a football game but for some reason they are bad seats at a bball game? Since Coleman isn't a multi purpose facility like the Bham Jeff civic ctr, the seats are closer to begin with. But, the best thing about the football tickets, is you know the good guys will win.

Best trick i nthe book is to buy cheapest available tickets on stubhub, then check stubhub ~15-30min before tipoff for best available seats and sit there.

Different strokes I guess. And I may be off a few rows. They start to get bad just below those top portals.

I got scalped several years ago outside Coleman. One of those scalpers gave me counterfeit 20s at a night game for 2 tickets. Have not sold a ticket since then.

Were the counterfeit 20s obvious?

No, they looked very real. However, at night it would be even harder to tell in the dim light..
