No he won't. He won't even get a call to gauge interest unless Byrne gets turned down by a LOT of people.

No baggage as far as I know, he just stinks as a coach. Plus, Bama isn't going to hire a coach that was fired by UAB

I don’t know the answer to this, but I would say that getting fired by UAB would seal his fate at ever getting the Bama job.
