Doing his job, very Jeremy Shelley esque.
Not gonna drill 50 yarders, but almost automatic within 45.
Sucks Bama just gets 1 season of him as starter, I'd love to not see them breaking in new starters at Kicker and Punter.

2 of those misses came in the FSU game too where apparently the new turf was a little funky. He's been a very pleasant surprise.

That is exactly who he reminds me of.

He is a little better gab Shelley so far. A stronger leg. A little more accurate. And kicks the ball a little higher so there is less of a block threat.

2 big kicks against LSU and A&M at the end of games too from difficult distances.
Been very solid.

The Florida State game aside, special teams has been solid so far this year.

It’s funny to think this was one of my biggest concerns at the start of the season.

Just have to keep his PGA buddy on speed dial. He was at the game so I knew Pap would make every kick.

I posted the same thought in the game thread.
I think the staff did a great job getting his confidence up by limiting what they'd try early in the season and slowly adding to it.
Now I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him hit one in the 50 range.

Actual golfer, or McCabe?

The 42-yarder he nailed against LSU would've easily been good from 50+...
