He may have made the decision he didn't want to see those rainy days.

Washington's web site www.washington.edu, the homepage shows a professor and 3 Barbie dolls, literally, Barbie Dolls. That is a school that I want my 5 star son playing for.

It's actually a pretty decent thing. Meant to encourage young girls to consider STEM careers.

If it was a picture of Coach Peterson teaching some type of drill using the Barbie Dolls with a tea set in the background I might understand the sentiment. In regards to the academic website of the school, I don't see why that matters. My professors at Alabama weren't teaching pass rushing techniques.

It's refreshing to see a gif celebration post without any donkey dick.

Thank you for making this correction. To think there is an Alabama fan who doesn't appreciate donkey arousal.

I have no info on this, but reading between the lines this is what I see. He has two family members pass away, and his parents are getting a divorce, and physically he's not the same person he was before. The actual comment was that he wanted to get closer to family. So with his parents getting a divorce, his dad pulls a fast one over the mom, and tells the son to pick whatever University wants to go to and he'll just move out there with him. So the kid picks his second choice and goes to Alabama. I can certainly see something like that happening. To me that seems a little more plausible than the kid making up lies to the University of Washington coaching staff and making claims about family problems just to immediately transfer to Alabama

Seattle has the most days of rain per year. Mobile typically gets the most in inches.

Serious question. At what point did Kaho ever say this? I've seen everyone else say he said it, but I have yet to see the quote attributed to him.

Haven't seen any direct quotes of him saying that, just a "close source" or some bullshite.

Either way, my biggest thought on Kaho right now is, if he needs time to get his body back in football shape, he can still play in 4 games and save that redshirt. That's ideal for us. Get a guy some decent experience and have him ready to step up next year.

My other thought is Tua is gonna change this guy's life and get his mind right.

This statement seems to be the source of a lot of confusion.

As far as I can tell, he never said he wanted to be anywhere close to home. His family fell apart and he hated Seattle. He just wanted to be somewhere he could be happy and get his mind right.

He could play in the last 4 games of the season and still redshirt. Think about what the last 4 games of the season could be.

Yeah but he's probably not gonna get to where he needs to be physically to play championship minutes at ILB this season. Best case would be to let him get some work in a blowout. They could try to work him in on some ST units too.

Yeah, I’m thinking ST and maybe some third down pass rush situations, if he’s really that versatile. ILB would be asking a lot physically and mentally in a short amount of time.

This is the quote from Petersen. It is the only quote I have read that states being closer to anything. I think most sites have changed the word family for home since that is a more common phrase.

“He has been granted a release," Petersen said of Kaho. "His family was really adamant that he needs to — he’s going through some stuff and he needs to be close to his family. And we get that. You’ve got to do the right thing."

So Petersen said it instead of Kaho. He didn't even say that's what Kaho said. Everyone has just assumed he wanted to be in Reno, when that was never the case.

It sounds a lot like the scenario I speculated on in the other thread. He felt pressured to sign early, and regretted it. He hated Seattle. His family fell apart, and he decided to get out and go where he wanted to be in the first place, which was Tuscaloosa.
