Figured we'd get a thread going for those following today's Pro Day.

Via Charlie Potter:

Pro Day broad jump numbers:

D.J. Lewis: 9’1”
Jamey Mosley: 9’10”
Mack Wilson: 10’1”
Josh Casher: 8’3”
Ronnie Clark: 8’5”
Lester Cotton: 8’0”
Hale Hentges: 8’11”
Josh Jacobs: 9’4”
Derek Kief: 10’5”

Not great for Jacobs (would have put him last among RBs at the combine). Mack's is around 10th or 11th compared to combine #s for LBs.

No surprise but Q is not doing any drills. Per Tom Pelissero:

quote:

Alabama DL Quinnen Williams won’t do any drills or testing at today’s pro day, sources say. Killed it at the combine and that should be enough. He’ll have a splint on his finger and playing it safe while that heals — good to go by draft. He will do interviews, board work, etc.

Per Matt Zenitz:

quote:

Have heard that former Alabama QB David Cornwell is expected to help out at Alabama’s pro day today.

Expected to be the QB for the throwing portion of the pro day. Played last season at East Central, a Division II school in Oklahoma.

Haha, would have made more sense for me to include that info in the first post, huh?

I have a lot to learn about starting these types of threads!

Doesn't seem like he's blowing anyone away with his athleticism (at least compared to other ILBs in the draft). Wonder if he's going to fall past the 2nd or 3rd round.

Mack should have stayed another year, could have played his way into the 1st round.

Well to be fair, it's kinda hard to run fast when you're trying to take that perfect selfie for instagram/twitter. He had to slow down to keep the camera steady.

Ronnie Clark has so much Bama in him. His injury history is saddening, but I really hope he gets some time on an NFL practice squad at least. If he got drafted in the last round, I would be happier than having Q get the first pick.
