4 of 5 Patriots offensive line starters were out today...and the OL actually looked better protecting Mac. Houston has a decent DL too.

If Harris keeps fumbling near the goaline, he's going to go from starter to released.

I agree they looked better. Some of that’s because the Texans don’t get after QBs as much as some other teams. It’s still remarkable how well they played together given the circumstances and they should continue to get opportunities.

Not even sure what to think about Harris, but you’re right,

After Sunday, Derrick Henry has 4,792 Rush yds & 47 Rush TD through his last 40 games. That is the most Rush yds in a 40-game span in NFL history surpassing Jim Brown (4,759) from 1963-65 h/t @EliasSports

My only fear about Henry is his workload. Can he really sustain over the long haul. He's on pace for Hall of Fame numbers but below you can see he has a way to go:

Derrick
Rushes 1324
Yards 6500
TD 62 rushing
Average 4.9/carry

I think Henry will be a HOF lock if he goes back to back to back as NFL rushing champion. I don't think that's ever been done post-merger...plus he's already a member of the 2,000 club.

As for our boy Mac Jones...

Mac Jones (75.5) is the highest-graded rookie QB through the first five weeks, per
@pff
. He leads all rookies in:

• Yards (1243)
• Completions (135)
• Comp % (71.1)
• Adj. comp % (78.3)
• Big time throws (7)
• Passer rating (86.4)
• 1st downs (62)

You mean back to back 2K rusher? Because (post-merger) there have been at least 3 RBs that have also won the rushing title in back to back years. All are HOFers but all also finished top 10 in career rushing. Henry would be in the same company as Emmitt Smith who had 3 straight rushing titles. Regarding multiple 2K yard seasons, technically correct. But there have been a few guys who might have done it have they played in 16-17 game seasons instead of 12-14 games.

If Henry doesn’t reach 10K career yards, the closest HOF comparison I can think of is Earl Campbell or Terral Davis. Though Campbell has a NFL MVP because it was easier to win it as a RB back then. Davis has a NFL MVP and 2 SB titles and 1 SB MVP. Still though you can’t ignore 3 rushing titles and 2 2K yard seasons so I’d say his chances are still good if he three peats this year.

Gruden fired today. He was good for Bama players. Too bad.

I'm talking about Henry being the NFL rushing champion 3 years in a row.

Nice to see OJ starting and getting the TD.

Tom Brady is just so freakin'good. A real shame Mac didn't get the W when he was so close to knocking off the GOAT.

Going to be hard for Jalen to keep pace with the Philly D looking like wet toilet paper.

Not gonna lie, not a huge fan of the pointy thing thing that Dickerson does after the defense jumps offsides. It was great when he did it against LSU but he's done it twice tonight. Guess it's not that big of a deal.

Anywho, first two TDs are from Bama guys. Roll Tide.

He must be a master of the finger wiggle on the ball. He has burned them twice with it.

He's playing left guard, but I do like the term "finger wiggle."
