Nice games from Jacobs and Henry today. Jalen didn't put up huge stats, but he's now the only undefeated QB in the NFL.
Trevor Lawrence had, and lost, 4 fumbles...wow... that's brutal. If Mac or Tua throws a couple of picks the talking heads are dumping all over them.

Mac not expected back next week. Hoyer might also be out as well (due to concussion)
Zappe might get the start.
Zappe gets hurt...then Jakobi Meyers (for now).

That game was in a monsoon.

Did Julio pat Gisele on the arse or something? Brady has only thrown his way once.

I took a trip to Jacksonville early this summer and a trip to Massachusetts late this summer. In Jville, every guy I talked to about football was huge on Trevor. They were certain that he was amazing. In Mass, nobody I talked to was high on the patriots this year. They didn't poo poo on Mac, but I got the sense they were still in love with Tom. Not a damn one of them was like yeah I love Mac, while every guy in Jville loves Trevor. To me it's not even close who is the better QB.

Julio had a chance to really make a statement with Godwin and Evans out last week...but couldn't get on the field unfortunately. For all the talk preseason, he's not making much of an impact after having a decent first game. Just a crowded WR room...but he knew that before signing.

#Commanders RB Brian Robinson has been medically cleared and the team is activating him off the NFI list. They now have 21 days to put him on the active roster. Amazing to see after Robinson was shot twice during an armed robbery attempt back in August.

Really good to see Ryans doing such a good job coaching the 49ers defense. Would love to see him back at Bama but he might be a NFL head coach soon.

I’d love for DeMeco to be a NFL HC.

He will no doubt be one. He seems to have the fierce demeanor and dedication of Coach Saban. Wish he had played for him.

I wonder if he's friends with Jim Leonhard. Both same age and overachieved in the NFL.

The NFL is probably where he wants to be, but I would love for him to coach at Alabama. I am a big DeMeco fan.

Dr. Bennet Omalu, the famous neuropathologist who inspired the 2015 film "Concussion," believes Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa should never take another hit and retire from the NFL.
quote:
Omalu told TMZ Sports that Tagovailoa needs to sit down and truly think about his future. "If you love your life, if you love your family, you love your kids — if you have kids — it’s time to gallantly walk away," he said. "Go find something else to do." Omalu was the first to discover CTE, better known as chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which is a progressive brain condition that’s thought to be caused by repeated blows to the head and episodes of concussion.

Is this standard advice now for any football player who suffers a couple of concussions or is it directed narrowly at Tua?
I mean half the NFL will have to retire if this is the new norm.
Don’t boxers take much greater punishment to their cranium and brain; over and over?
Just wondering out loud.

Sounds pretty standard. Doc doesn't know much about Tua:
"If you love your life, if you love your family, you love your kids — if you have kids — it’s time to gallantly walk away," he said.

Wonder if some mathematical genius could figure out the forces his brain went through in the whiplash slam.

This Indy-Denver game has been the NFL version of 3-2. Watching Surtain work is a lot of fun though.

I turned it off. Neither qb can throw a 10 yard pass.

That’s exactly what I just said to one of my friends. What happened to Russell?
