NFL schedule release...once again I'm reminded how much I hate Mac and Tua being in the same division.

Carlton, how did you feel about the 49ers draft class? I felt like this was a very weak class

On paper it looks pretty mediocre in my opinion so hopefully they know more than me . Don't know much about the guy from USC they took in the 2nd. Don't like taking RB in the 3rd. They got the speedster WR in the same round so hopefully he hits but they have been quite bad at drafting WRs outside of Deebo and Aiyuk so I won't hold my breath. Not sold on the OL they picked. Hope that the DB from Penn State was a steal. Brock Purdy looks like Nick Mullins. Knee jerk reaction is blah. Hopefully it works out. I feel like Shanahan's and Salah/Ryan's coaching/scheming covers up a lot of questionable Shanahan/Lynch personel and front office stuff.

He was most likely going to run away with the Biletnikoff before he got hurt. I don’t much about him either, but he’s one of those “high contested” catch guys. Which might be a bad thing.

It’s usually indicative that a guy can’t get open enough and so is forced to make contested catches. It’s easier to Moss your average college DB but not in the NFL. There are some of these types of receivers to do well in the NFL like Mike Evans but many of them bust.

Drake Jackson is a DE, the guy from USC the 49ers took in the 2nd.

I’m fine with Washington renaming their team, but the commanders, seems like a European league name

It's like they wanted to go for something government or military related, but Generals has been taken for decades, everyone hates Congress so Senators is out, can't go with Admirals because it might alienate the Army, the baseball team already took Nationals, and eventually they just gave up and agreed upon the most boring, generic thing they could come up with, which was Commanders. It's not surprising that their merchandise sales have tanked.

And all just to replace a name that didn't actually offend anyone.

First play of practice: Pat Surtain INT off Russell Wilson and took it to the house.
