Burrow good drive down 16-13. 18 seconds to go 2nd and 10 from 14.
1st and goal from the 3 and AJ Green pushes off in the end zone .
Then they missed the field goal. The kicker pulled his calf on a 31 yard field goal with 7 seconds.
The Bengals are amazing.

Niners didn't look good in this game. Their defense did not have an answer for The scrambling and running of Murray. Looked like Cardinals were running a Hurry Up College offense most of the game.

They had trouble with it last year but it was the offense that was the issue in this game. 1 for a million on 3rd down, stop on 4th and goal at the 1, Garrapollo playing poorly and possibly getting Kittles seriously injured. Special Teams also gave the Cardinals the ball in the red zone on a blocked punt too.
Murray negates the pass rush some but they would have been fine if the offensive would have performed. Hopefully some receivers will get healthy and Garrappolo sucks less than more.

Their receivers were non existent in this game. Were completely dependent on RBs and TEs. Just looked very ordinary compared to the well oiled machine they were last year; a fearsome defense and a multi faceted innovative offense. No pre-season may have affected them.

Excuses in what way? I didn't say the refs screwed the Niners, the Cardinals cheated or the NFL hates us. I just said our offense stunk and that was more of a reason for the loss than the defense which would have looked better except for execution by the offense and special teams. There is a difference between reasons and excuses . And fair play to the Cardinals specifically Murray and Hopkins.

I’m not a big fan of the Rams’ jerseys. Something annoys me

They aren't really gray and they aren't really white. They just look like they forgot to do laundry .

They do look like a team from a 90s Genesis football game that didn't have the NFL license.
