Most participants, except for Lexi, are underclass men. Team should be really, really good next year.

Alabama wins its 10th SEC Gymnastics Championship and second under head coach Dana Duckworth! With this title, the Crimson Tide remains the only school to never finish outside the top-four at the conference meet!

Alabama Gymnastics Wins 10th Southeastern Conference with Huge Night in Huntsville

The Crimson Tide was on fire from the start, leading from start to finish

The No. 6 Alabama gymnastics team continued the Crimson Tide's legacy as a "Championship School" on Saturday at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala., winning its 10th Southeastern Conference Championship with a season-best 197.875.

The Crimson Tide was on fire from the start, and with the meet in the balance, closed with a 49.450 on the balance beam to hold off second-place LSU Tigers. In addition to being the Crimson Tide's 10th overall, it is the second under head coach Dana Duckworth.

Alabama was led by sophomore Luisa Blanco, who won the all-around with a 39.800, and Lexi Graber, who posted a 39.575 to take third in the all-around. Blanco also won a share of the vault, uneven bars, and balance beam. Blanco shared the bars title with freshman Shania Adams and sophomore Makarri Doggette and the beam title with Graber.

More to come …

Next year it’s slated to come to Birmingham (FYI).

If that holds true I guess I know where I will be that night. Went to the 2011 and 2014 SEC Championships in Birmingham and had a blast both times.

Around the country #1 Oklahoma finished in second at the Big 12 championships with a 197.125. #9 Denver won the Big 12 with a 197.350.

In the Big 10 #7 Minnesota tallied a 197.750 to beat #3 Michigan (197.425) for their conference championship.

In the Pac 12 #6 Utah tallied a 197.725 to beat #5 California (197.375).

And obviously with Alabama beating co-#1 Florida and #4 LSU at the SEC Championship, it looks like the NCAA title will be wide open this year.

big accomplishment. I was sceptical at the beginning of the season as we were posting 196 type scores then they started getting better. I figured it would take a high 197 score to win the SEC.

We got a shot at the nattie.

Blanco dominates as Bama wins SEC title

Before the 2021 season got underway, Alabama gymnastics seniors Alonza Klopfer and Lexi Graber came up with a theme for their team - "Women on Fire." On Saturday night in Huntsville, Ala., their team was just that, continuing the Crimson Tide's legacy as a "Championship School" at the Von Braun Center, winning its 10th Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championship with a season-best 197.875.

I always find it funny they still list all 14 schools on the trophy even though only 8 sponsor gymnastics.

The others conceded it from the start.

I guess the fire the coach posters will have to give it a break for a year?

Every Alabama routine from their 2021 SEC Championship.

warning: intense championship emotions between athlete and coach when Blanco clinches the win. Bring tissues.
