Najee Harris was a tremendous A-B gap blocker in Pass-Pro also, weak and strong...Do NOT have that this year, which adds to the lure of sending pressures by our opponents.BUT..If we continue to be successful with our Hots when they bring pressure?...They will discontinue that nonsense...

The 2020 OL is better than the 2021 version at every position IMO.

We haven't succeeded in burning teams enough with hot routes to stop them from blitzing us. But we need to.

No? I thought a couple of the big pass plays to the RBs came on blitzes last night. Maybe I'm misremembering.

Tim Smith got a 15 yard penalty last night. Did anyone see what set him off? He looked like he wanted to fight someone on State.

he has been like that before and this is why I think NS does not play him more. Has no personal discipline.

Dickerson was a monster no doubt but I really did not expect this much drop-off at center.

Do you have an opinion on Doug Marrone?

Goes without saying that I miss Flood from both a coaching and recruiting aspect. Don't think Marrone is ever gonna matter in recruiting, nor do I think he's there for more than 2 years. Think he'll head back to the NFL when he gets the chance.

I think a lot of it is personnel this season. Ekiyor was the "weak link" on the line in 2020, light hasn't stayed on for Cohen, Owens' helmet is bumping his ceiling, and Dalcourt is the best option they have at Center(Mclaughlin inexperienced, Brockermeyer underweight, and Owens having snapping issues in camp).

I think he's a good coach, this line just hasn't had that "meshing" game yet that we're accustomed to. Even some of the less talented lines under Saban have had that game where they click and work as a unit.

Hopefully they can tighten things up during the bye week and make a switch then if they see fit. I know it's been said Owens is fighting to keep his job in practice lately.

Dalcourt seems to be having snapping issues as well.

Best thing about the Mississippi St game besides the defense was the team celebrating Holden's touchdown. They knew he'd been waiting for that moment.

Take notes Agiye Hall. Your time will be here soon enough.

Early in the season we saw J.Baker 5 get some spot reps and I do not recall seeing him Saturday. I wonder if Holden and Brooks pushed for his time or if he was just dinged up from practice

Baker has supposedly been in the dog house for maturity issues.

Interesting. I guess we have a room full of those issues with Billingsly and apparently Hall too
