I'm not sure what feelings that sequence of emojis is suppose to convey.

Honestly that is a win in my eyes. The fact that they would allow 20,000 non students or staff on campus is a big deal.

OMG, my incoming freshman daughter probably just landed a spot as a trainer for the football team!

Good for her. Maybe that will lessen the disappointment of rush being virtual this year . My daughter is still getting to be on the rush team but several didn’t get the opportunity to rush the freshmen this year

just read a tweet where Ben Jones is trending at number 1 for one of the OLB spots. Will this hold when they start really hitting?

Yeah, because all they ever ate was pancakes.

I don’t recall the year but I do recall they didn’t live up to their own hype.

It was 2000, Dubose's last year. Preseason top 5 team that finished 3-8. The pancake posse was gonna rack up the pancake blocks. They forgot the blocking part.

EDIT: brain fart on the year.

-- Much of what is being done during the current phase of mandatory workouts involves installation. While there have been 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, practices in full pads will not start until preseason camp. A start date is still to be determined, though Nick Saban told the team he believes they could find that out as early as Thursday, according to a source.

-- Positional groupings are what you would expect them to be with experienced players at the front of lines. Injured players like Dylan Moses, DJ Dale and Trey Sanders are also back on the field and taking part in the workouts. Sanders has impressed with his ability to catch the ball. We’re not sure yet on the status of players like LaBryan Ray and Joshua McMillon.

-- Before we mention a couple of players that have stood out during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 work, keep in mind that these are the early stages and, again, are not full-blown practices. There is still -- hopefully -- a lot of football in front of us. Having said that, Jaylen Waddle (an obvious choice) and Cameron Latu (a bit of a surprise) are two names that were mentioned.

-- As for the quarterbacks, it goes back to veterans benefiting from having been in the program and the pandemic most affecting the new players’ development. Mac Jones has understandably only seen first-team reps, while Bryce Young and Paul Tyson worked with the twos.

Hearing Kaho might have gotten a meniscus injury. Hopefully not too serious if true.

But... Death. Taxes. Alabama front 7 critical injuries during the Summer.
