Thanks for the info Boz. Not surprising. Tua doesn’t have to be a designated leader - it would be like a 7 foot tall dude saying I’m the tallest. Tua just is what he is without trying (why teammates naturally gravitate to and trust him).
Tua is doing as good a job of keeping Jalen involved as Saban.
Jalen for his part has handled the situation very well (short of one day).
Saban’s not an idiot and doesn’t have the blind-spot some fear. If that were true Jalen would have played more than the kneel-down play in the second half (while amazing, Tua was far from perfect in that half and Saban never waivered).

Unrelated, but apparently yesterday Tua put a picture on Snapchat with him in a hot tub with three girls who had markers and wrote “Tualicious” and #13 on a window.
Why wear cleats if you not gonna indulge in those who chase said cleats? Man's gotta sow his wild oats sometime. Might as well do it when you're on top of the world.

he comes from a very religious family so I highly doubt he is sowing his wild oats as you say. but either way I wish him the best. The entire family seems like class act.

Just my opinion from hearing him and his family talk in interviews.

No worries. Tua seems like the type of guy that would have sex with a girl just to be polite

reminds me of the silly old joke that goes...
She says "that's not my belly button" and he replies "that's not my finger either"

Maybe he likes to picture Jesus in a tuxedo T-Shirt because it says I want to be formal, but I’m here to party.

LINK ]D-lineman returns to action, other Alabama practice notes (al.com)
quote:
Alabama went through its final pre-game week practice on Saturday, working on the team's indoor practice field.
Here are some notes from the media viewing period:
-- Defensive lineman Johnny Dwight was back practicing. Raekwon Davis was also a full participant in drills after exiting briefly during the media viewing period on Friday.
-- Cornerback Trevon Diggs was in uniform and at practice but stood off to the side during the media viewing period. With Diggs not in there, freshman Patrick Surtain lined up at cornerback with the first-team defense. The first-team dime secondary was otherwise the same it's been -- Saivion Smith at the other cornerback spot, Shyheim Carter at Star, Xavier McKinney at Money and Deionte Thompson and Jared Mayden at safety. Mack Wilson was at linebacker, as usual.
-- Najee Harris was going through drills for a second straight day, another step forward for the sophomore running back as he works from his foot injury.
-- The first- and second-team offensive lines remained the same. Alex Leatherwood is still at right guard with Jedrick Wills at right tackle. The second-team line consisted of Chris Owens at left tackle, Josh Casher at left guard, Emil Ekiyor at center, Deonte Brown at right guard and Richie Petitbon at right tackle.
-- Nick Saban reprimanded a walk-on at one point for a lack of effort running a route while Alabama worked on its dime defense. "It ain't about you," Saban yelled. "Run the damn route."
