Also explains how Kiffin calls so many TDs

Bonus: In the comments on Reddit, a poster claims that last year Kiffin had a rough go of the headsets at first. He'd forget to cover his mic and would be talking shite with players while Saban and company were trying to scheme

One of the most interesting things I've ever read about the team...or any team for that matter. I knew absolutely nothing about how that process works before reading the article.

There is no telling how deep their preparations go. If their transitions during adjustments on gameday are as smooth as they say(even if it fails), especially with how complex the system is, they must have backup plans for backup plans. Hours of preparation. I couldn't imagine.

I read an article that stated everything is played out in prep meetings beforehand down to the amount of helmet clips that the equipment manager should have on hand at any given time.

That article was awesome. Blew my mind how they study the tendencies of the referee crew calling the game.

I pretty much guarantee you that there's no other team in the country that goes to the level Saban does. It's that attention to the smallest detail (and the ability to keep that focus year after year after year) that makes him tGOAT.

Every time I read stories like this one, it reinforces the thought I've had for a long time that Saban would have dominated whatever field he chose to enter as a career.

I guess we can expect a rules change with regard to how many channels a team can use because Bama uses more than other teams.
