Alabama Basketball vs Lipscomb Game Thread: BAMA WINS 86-64

The awaited debut of Collin Sexton is tonight against the Lipscomb Bisons. Only $5 admission to Coleman with the donation of a canned item to Beat Auburn Beat Hunger. T-shirts will be given to the first 1000 fans as well.
Lipscomb enters the game at 2-0. They are a solid team that is projected to finish second behind Florida Gulf Coast in the Atlantic Sun Conference. 6'5" guard Garrison Matthews leads the team in scoring with 31 points per game this season. 6'7" forward Rob Marberry was also named preseason first team all A-Sun.
Expect lots and lots of threes from Lipscomb. They aren't a team we can sleep walk over to a victory. I'd say they are only slightly worse than the Belmont team that beat Vanderbilt last night. With that said, if we do not absolutely dominate the interior and rebounds, it'll be a very disappointing performance from our bigs.

I expect Sexton to be a little rusty...probably will ony score 30 in this one.

It's not general admission. But tickets are only $5 if you bring a canned food item. That's cheapest you'll ever get in. Worth the trip if you can make it.

I live in Childersburg so its about 1hr 30min drive. I dont know if I feel like dealing with traffic on 459 and 59 though.

I wish we could move Tuscaloosa about 100 miles closer to Huntsville. I'll be tuned in and watching though. Can't wait to see how we look with one more piece to the puzzle added.

Been shooting crumbled up pieces of paper at my trash can all afternoon. Wife is gonna be pissed when she gets home and sees that I've missed most of my shots.

We'll never have a good regular attendance for midweek games. Too many season ticket holders live out of town.
