That probation part for 3 years is not good, if any silly violation happens during that period, the punishment gets exacerbated. The probation can get extended too. This is what kept us under NCAA cloud for almost a dozen years ending with that ridiculous textbook scandal. Probably why we are appealing the sanctions.

I believe that our appeals will work. I don’t like any punishment, but this was about as good as we could expect, besides getting nothing

season ticket email arrived. Row 42, yikes. That's not ideal and 30 rows higher than normal. Ahh well. They also charged me a tide pride fee for those tickets when faculty doesn't usually pay that, it was minimal but sort of shady.

The probation shite is wrong. That’s a sneaky way to keep Bama on the hook for years. Any bullshite level 3 violation like an improper cell phone call extends the probation a year. And every program has those little ticky tack violations every year. It’s always a joke that the football program reported 13 level 3 violations and the basketball team reported 5. So that’s the rub.
Then if something bigger happens, they nail your arse because you’re already on probation from 7 years ago.
