Devin Mitchell's PT must be a typo. 10 FGA in 3 min?

Here's ESPN's take on our recruiting class:
quote:

Who they have: One program couldn't possibly land two big men who are so different from each other. From a player's standpoint, different is good. Center Jimmie Taylor and power forward Shannon Hale are like twins of the Danny DeVito/Arnold Schwarzenegger variety. Taylor has that Jarvis Varnado body style. He's long, skinny and bouncy. That means Taylor's strength comes as a shot-blocker, and when he can extend in the lane, he'll finish over stronger players by virtue of his reach. There can be no skipping of weight room sessions for Taylor, and if he applies himself, he could evolve into a fine prospect. Hale is a thick but athletic 4-man. Although his calling card is with his stroke, he will mix it up inside. Put these two next to each other, and you've got a skilled strong man next to a skinny guy who runs, rejects and rebounds. Coach Anthony Grant can make that work.

Who they want: The Crimson Tide came up short a number of times as they reached out to point guards and wings. Something's got to give in the spring, as Grant is due for a twist of good luck. The Tide targeted a host of good players although they weren't able to close the deal down the stretch. Grant is good enough at his job and his staff can uncover such players that the statistics are in their favor. However, potential targets are dwindling.

We should be much improved down low, but Grant has got to change the offense. We need to be cutting and working guys in the post, not dribbling it out at the top of the key until the shot clock runs out.

Not getting too much PT, and probably having problems adjusting to the different level of play. 4A in Alabama is considered the joke of public school basketball. William Lee doesn't seem to have had much of a problem adjusting though.

This probably isn't the thread for this, but it didn't deserve it's own. It sounds like there's a lot of momentum to shorten the shot clock to thirty seconds before next season. That'd help us all get our wish to play with some more tempo

I really hope it gets shortened and practice moves up a couple weeks. Maybe that'll help us not collapse in December.

A relatively quiet recruiting weekend by our staff. I saw that Grant was at an EYBL game, but I saw nothing else about who or what our assistants were watching. I also wish they'd announce a new assistant or if they're promoting Pettway.

Well Devin Mitchell named a top 5 and we arent in it. Sucks because he was killing it at the EYBL. Dont know if its a good idea for Grant to keep going after the kids that play the same position and are on the same AAU team. Im pretty sure they talk.

I really wish he'd go ahead and commit. He could start recruiting his teammates then.
