TBH I wasn't a big fan of the whole transfer galore additions, because it gives Grant a bye year pretty much. If we get Hurt's signature he won't be canned the next off-season unless we just tank. The Pollard shite just gives him another excuse for another tournament miss. I was iffy on him before the Pollard shite and I am still on the same iffy-ness scale afterwards. That part is not Grant's fault. It just makes it harder for him to win me over this season. I wanted a tournament win next year before this shite and that remains and will remain my demand.

Yea I know he did but if he was my friend or family I have to bite the bullet and hope that while im roting in jail that he doesnt do anything dumb again. No need for all of us to go down.

Thats another thing that pisses me off. His MOM. Man I love my mom but I wouldve told her to frick off and dont come near me. I think he probably afraid of her. You can look at her and tell that she crazy. Ive read some of a article on the kidnapping shite and I still dont understand the reason for it.

It's just a sad state of the program. We will have 9 scholarship players available next year. NINE. That's pathetic in any year, especially year 5. I also saw where somebody predicted Coleman to auburn in that crystal ball thing. If Grant can't even land Coleman...

We need to fire Grant after next season, hire Pearl, and at least make sure we have a legit shot at Langford. It's so frustrating to watch what is happening right now, realize that our program is going to be a dumpster fire in a few years if it isn't stopped, and be unable to do anything about it.

I don't think any one of those things are happening. Grant's bought himself 2 more years with the transfers. Too many narrow-minded Bama fans will keep us from hiring Pearl. Langford is a top 5 talent who grew up in Alabama as a Duke fan. I don't think it would matter one way or another who our coach was. He seems bound for a big-time school.
Having said all that, the transfers and 2014 class should put us back on track to a top 25 team unless we get hit with the transfer bug again, which seems like a foregone conclusion with Grant.

His show-cause ends late August in '14. I can't imagine any team hiring him for the '14 season, unless a Petrino type situation happens.

what do you guys think of the 7 foot player from Sand mountain. I think UAB has offered. Is he SEC material?

What ever happened with Harold Givens? Does he not have the grades to go anywhere or did I miss something? 6'7" and athletic wing. Maybe he could be our new Pollard...minus the bat-shite crazy mom, of course

Isaac Haas? Both Alabama and Auburn passed on him. He's UAB caliber but could be a good player in time.
