Alabama, Iona, and Kansas are the only 3 teams I can find that are in it as of now LINK

Arkansas was impressive. Played their guts out. Moody just completely dissapeared.

I'm enjoying this Baylor-Arkansas game. Arky has been playing really well, but Baylor is just so solid and relentless.

Final: Bay 81, Ark 72

Yep, during our very hot streak he was really fire from the field but he was really only productive from the FT during the tournament.

Love this team though.

Absolutely. That was a hell of an effort. Great season.

The only guy I’m gonna miss is Reese.

Herb Jones and Petty were no-shows when it mattered most

This dude smh! Anyway, Darius Miles has crazy potential and he's most definitely a point guard but I will be interested to see who starts out at POINT GUARD because you can use JQ, DMiles, & JD in multiple ways. I also think Frentchie will be the key to how far we go next year. I' m also very high on Holt and Wilson. Holt is a great shooter & defender and Wilson is an explosive leaper

How does the offense change with a true big man like Alex T and potentially Bediako being ok the floor? I think it will be more of the same, but with the intention of getting 3D baskets when penetrating

Bediako won’t change the offense at all IMO. He needs a year of seasoning on that end. Tchikou if Healthy is gonna change A LOT. He is a Guard trapped in a 6’11 240lb body. He is extremely skilled offensively.

I expect a lot of those pick and Pops for a wide open 3 that we ran for Reese a lot in Nate’s first year. And Tchikou will be a 38-40% 3pt shooter IMO. But he can also put it on the floor and blow by people too.

Baylor made 53% of 3 pointers last night and 76% of free throws.
Run the math for Alabama if we had matched those numbers. Heck, just split the difference and let me know.

Petty scored 14 in the second half vs UCLA. What a ridiculous comment.

I wish we could just ban all the idiot Gumps coming in here with their poorly reasoned, not evidence based hot takes. Not from the board. Just from this specific thread. Because outside of idiot Gumps spewing nonsense, this thread is pretty awesome. I wonder who the next Petty is going to be though. I could see Burnett if he transfers in. Borderline 5* kid that theyll all convince themselves should score like 20 per game, but he won't so when he misses 4 shots in a row or busts a defensive assignment he'll be labeled lazy and overrated, if not a distraction and a locker room cancer.

I would love for Keon to stay 2 more years with us since he gets a pass for this year. He would be Herb with a genuine jump shot.

I am most impressed with USC ,they might take down Zags if they don't bring their A game. I think they can beat any team left in the tournament. We shall see.

I thought she was a senior but that is surprising and disappointing as well

a senior this year has another year to play due to Covid regs. So she could perhaps be a senior.

And Baylor only shot 15 3's where Oats goal is to shoot around 30 per game.

Add Terion Arnold, freshman football / basketball player to the roster as a walk on.

It is pretty exciting to know we'll have real shot blockers and rim protectors next year. Gary was the unsung hero of last season's squad, but it can really hurt forcing a 6-6 F to play 5. Plus it opens up more lanes for the guards on offense knowing there is an actual inside presence. Bruner was that guy before his knees gave out.

I also hope Holt finds his way onto the court. Probably our most underrated recruit coming in.

We’ll see, an Achilles injury can really rob a guys explosiveness.

I’m really excited about Langston Wilson. He’s a Gerald Wallace level athlete, we haven’t had one of those in a long time. He’s Dont’a Hall with a perimeter game.

I’d really like to find some accurate stats on him. His school website has him at 8.8 ppg and 7.5 rebounds per game, while averaging just under 5 minutes of action per game
