So what do we know about the schedule next year?

Not sure yet tbh.

Did our home and home with Houston get cancelled or was just the game this season cancelled and we are still playing there next year?

Houston. Was originally an away game but IDK if it’s home because we didn’t get our game this year.

Also Yale

Memphis
Yale
Houston
South Alabama
Disney Tournament

I just want to say I think it'd be super awesome if we opened the season with 3 progressivly more difficult games.

vs Southern Miss
@ South Alabama
vs Yale

Is that too much to ask? Can we get comfy and not come out of the gates, get TKOd real quick and have to recover this go round?

Do we know who all is in this thing?

I'm definitely planning on going to this and the SECT next season.

I just did a search and found absolutely nothing. The only other team in it that I know of for sure is Iona and only because Pitino mentioned it after our game the other day.

For anyone that didn’t already have season tickets, now is the opt in for a $50 deposit on the tickets.

Y’all are stronger than I am if you’re watching these games tonight. I tried, but I’m at a bit of an emotional low right now as far as basketball is concerned. I’ll probably pick it back up during the Final Four, but it’s still too soon for me to enjoy other games without thinking about that loss last night.

I just turned this one on when Oregon State tied it, but I'm not gonna be able to watch Arkansas/Baylor and there is no shot I can watch that UCLA game tomorrow.

Might watch USC/Gonzaga because it's so damn intriguing.

Primo/Gary
Tchikou/Bediako

That’s my team.

It’s not the easiest trip in the world for me but I also want priority for SEC and NCAA tournament tickets assuming the world goes back to normal for next season.

Think about the second team in this scenario... you could win a lot of games with that group alone.

Shackelford
Burnett
Miles
Gary
Bediako

You kidding me?

Yeah - there’s a 0% chance I watch Arkansas play tonight. Or UCLA tomorrow.

Mobley and USC playing against Gonzaga should be a helluva game and wasn’t directly tied to Bama’s chances, so I might give it a shot tomorrow.

Houston's road to the Final Four, by KenPom

#169 Cleveland State
#37 Rutgers
#41 Syracuse
#43 Oregon State

That's wild

Ours, which was rightly called pretty easy

#177 Iona
#35 Maryland
#16 UCLA
#4 Michigan (if we'd won)

Per KenPom, the Memphis (#30) game in the AAC final was the toughest game they've played in the last 5. Memphis went to the NIT.

On a more positive note, the team was good enough for everyone to be let down by a Sweet 16 loss, which we would have gladly taken to start the year. Oats mentioned early in January that his expectations changed when our play improved. I think he was referring to efficiency goals, but it kind of relates to the entire season. I’m glad to have had the season we did, even if it ended in disappointment.

Also, I’m going to take my mopey arse out of this thread until I’m over that game yesterday. No need to muck up the first few pages ITT with the same thoughts we had yesterday.

Keeping it 2021 in the bitch moving forward!

Agreed - same.

Looking forward to next year more than any in a long time
