One is the known name and one is the hot name but neither is sure fire yet for next year. The Shockers will be basking in their "newness" and the next year the target will be on their back. Xavier has a name but they will still have to adjust to their new conference and may have a rougher year than folks think.

In both games the Tide have a solid chance for the W.

Xavier is apparently expected to have a bit of a down year. Wichita returns several key players from last year though. They aren't going to be a Final Four team, but they will still definitely be very good.

UCLA in Pauly Pavillion is going to be a bloodbath. We won't stay within 10. All of the Tuscaloosa game will be winnable though.

I would take Bama to win that game.

I don't think it'll be a bloodbath at all. I don't think we win but I bet we keep it close.

I agree but if I'm not mistaken Bama has some issues as well. Bama fans should feel good about them being at home though.

I think we win that one and the Xavier game. I think we will lose to Duke or Arizona in the Tip-off tournament, and Wich State and 1 loss to one of the remaining teams on our schedule. 10-3 is very doable.

I think SEC Play is going to be pretty rough due to the wear and tear on our 9 players. I think we squeak in a tournament appearance as a 9 or 10 seed though. Can't really have any major injuries though for that to happen.
