Good luck to both!

Also, Ignacio Ortega, sophomore from Spain scored 37 points today in the win against Auburn.

Pic is from Rick Karle.

UA has made a significant investment into adapted athletics to provide opportunities for those students. T

hey built a $10 million facility 3 years ago with training rooms, strength and conditioning facilities, a basketball venue, study halls and locker rooms. They field competition teams in men's and women's basketball, tennis, rowing, and golf.

Guess the men came up short then?

Happy for the women's team, in any case! Roll (pardon the pun) tide!

The women’s team clinched its seventh national title. The men’s team fell to the ever-Movin’ Mavs.

In HS, a local team would come play our team each year and bring us the chairs. They would whip our arse like you've never seen. Moving around in those chairs and then shooting is tough business. Your arms better be ready.

Congrats on the win!!

Back in 1980, an uncle of mine was in a car wreck resulting in him being paralyzed from the waist down. He spent months at Spain Rehab before making the move to the newly opened Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center. It was there that he began playing basketball competitively. He played 8-10 years there with them before he moved on to shooting rifles and ultimately competed for the US Paralympic team and competed in 2 Paralympic Games.
