You and I watched 2 different games.
Our first unit passing game wasn't crisp, but the biggest issues were dropped passes and protection. We also never ran the ball to create balance. Pass rushers can pin their ears back.
At some point in time, bad hottakes become stupid asstakes.
Are you on the spectrum? I think that would help a lot of us understand you better.

Tua Lite is 3 times the athlete as Mack and will replace him as the backup as the 2019 season unfolds.
I doubt that very much. Mac is a pretty good QB himself, is lightyears ahead of Taulia in experience and playbook, and started his career as a 4-star prospect.
There's very little chance that if Tua goes down, Taulia is the first off the bench to win the game in 2019. There just so much more to playing QB than being the better athlete. If being the better athlete mattered, Cooper Bateman would have a statue in Tuscaloosa.

Yo, my favorite fake Christian! How've you been, man? It's great to hear from you. I hope you can regale is with more of your outlandishly hypocritical bullshite when you've got time.
On the topic of my post and your response, did you disagree with my point? Do you think Tua looked confused and disinterested, and that those issues were worse than dropped passes or line blocking? I'll hang up and listen.
Try not to spit on too many Bible verses when you do. The Good Lord might be paying attention.

Only took Sark a couple weeks to completely derail the entire offense. The man has a gift.

my biggest concern is our oline is to big and slow. will get blown up by quicker defensive linemen. gonna be interesting to see.

My favorite play of the game gained nothing - against the other team.
It was the flip to Waddle, who set up to pass the ball. This has to do wonders to the digestive systems of the DCs of the other 13 teams in the league when they check their recorders.
You don't usually do anything like that in a vanilla spring game. They have to wonder what is coming in a real game.

The A-Day rules take away one of Tua's major weapons; scrambling. In a real game, just the threat changes what the defense can do.

I don't put a lot into spring games. I watch them and pray for the guys to stay healthy. That's about it

AMEN! Not getting anyone hurt has to be priority 1!
But the other 13 teams have to be nick-picking, trying to find anything that might help. Besides what else are you going to have a couple of dozen "analysts" do (legally, anyway) for the next couple of months?

No offense to you, but flea-flickers, double passes, and the like have been commonplace in all levels of football for decades now, probably since about WWII.
Not one single opposing DC would be phased by us running such a ply in a Spring game, as these plays are not only commonplace in Spring games, they are part of the fun most teams have.
That play wasn't noteworthy to an opposing coach in the slightest.

Should I spit out Bible verses like you do profanities at other posters for no good reason? I don’t have that many.
If calling out ridiculously bad behavior makes me a fake Christian, then I’m guilty.

I definitely agree. I watched THE BEAR use it several times, Richard Todd in the wishbone, but not under center, then a throwback to him.
To me, it was just that we showed it in the spring game. I didn't see any other ones in today's games. I will admit that once ours was over and the Masters started, the remote almost never left my hand.

I've watched a few teams' spring games, and ours has less funny stuff than most.
I wouldn't look at that play as "showing" something. It's a random double pass that any team can run.
I just like that we were letting the kids have fun.

This is the thing, cuz: we're all sinners in the eyes of God, and I'm as flawed as any. The difference between me and you is that I'm not constantly talking out both sides of my mouth or being blatantly hypocritical. You are constantly calling folks out for a thing while simultaneously doing that very thing yourself.
Dude, you chose your screen name - not me. And if you choose that kind of name, you can't go around acting like you're acting. I'm not saying you have to be a saint, but hypocrisy is just too much.
It's fake Christian hypocrisy at it's worst, and you should be ashamed.
I'm a deeply flawed man, saved by the Grace of God alone - but I'm no hypocrit.
Also, where in the Bible does it tell a person not to use foul language? It says not to curse, which means not to literally put black magic style curses on people. Remember, the Bible was written in a time when folks commonly believed in the black arts.
The Bible also forbade using the Lord's name in vain, which I'd never do. And so, I've read the Bible many times, and I've never seen a verse that forbade 4-letter words. You're just circumscribing to common Christian-style beliefs that have no basis in the Word.
And so, I'll do me - and you do you. But every time you try to jump on me without provocation - like you did in this thread - I'm going to ridicule you for all to see, and lay your hypocrisy bare.
You are a joke, and I will continue to make sure everyone knows it.

There is a very good chance that I might have done this very thing to our kicker midway through this past season. I'm not proud of it but I blacked out and I uttered some words that I don't even know what they meant
