The goal is 10,000.00 for funeral expenses.

Easy to find on Go Fund Me. And a worthy cause. May her family have peace. And may justice be done.

Journalism has a low bar now a days.

ETA: I don't believe Go fund me pages are allowed. Check with the mods, bruh.

After reading the story, Flannigan seems like a real piece of work.

Seems like a worthless POS, iyam. She deserves murder conviction/death penalty.

She won't be eligible for death penalty. But we had a similar case in autauga county last year and the guy got life in prison.

In the domestic violence case, court records show, Flannigan is accused of firing a gun into an occupied dwelling on Jan. 3, wounding a woman in the foot. Charging documents describe the victim as a “current or former parent.” She was arrested Jan. 8 and released the same day on $15,000 bond.

In March of 2020, authorities contend, Flannigan, while armed with a gun, broke into a home armed with intent to commit a theft. She was released from jail on $25,000 bond in that incident. In December, the burglary case was forwarded to be heard by a grand jury for indictment consideration.

This person should not have been out of jail when this wreck happened. Absolute tragedy.

Unbelievable. Our justice system is often a joke.

Actually, even if she had already been indicted she could/would have been out on bond.

She's a piece of shite for sure. But the system is not set up to have people in jail until after they have been convicted of a crime. If she is out on bond and then gets charged with another crime, her bond gets revoked and she stays in jail. But I don't think that was the case here.

my condolences to everyone involved. my apologies for not being able to contribute. my reason for even posting is a shocker, to me anyway. ms ballard has a doppelganger. a friend of mine is almost the spitting image of that picture posted in that article. about the same age, same hair, its freaky. when i got to the picture i was like, wow, why is my friends picture in this article? literally had to look 3 times to see any difference, lol, had to look for the tats. i know that someones death is not an "lol" type of situation. but her picture really caught me off guard. may she rest in peace.

My qualm is more-so with the low bond amount.

COVID. I deal with it a lot. Courts don’t want people sitting in jail and potentially be exposed.

Those bonds are incredibly low for home invasion/robberies involving a shooting. While bond is not punitive, it is for public safety. They failed the public.

If a criminal gets life without parole, why waste money and prison space on them for decades? After 3 years in prison (in case new evidence surfaces adequate for an appeal) eliminate 'em.

Yeah, I don’t want you to be on any of my jury panels. I’d moved for immediate preemptive strike and excusal.

Good. I don't want to be a juror (even tho I'd be a good one).

You'd disqualify me due to my support of capital punishment? I also strongly support presumed innocence until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

Nah. I was just messing with you. They need to add a sarcasm button or something. Never helps to judge a book by its cover in my profession.

With that said, you would have to spend about 4 or 5 hours in jury selection before you might make it on the panel.

So, in less than 12 months, she was arrested for shooting her mother/stepmother. Released. Arrested for committing an armed burglary. Released. Arrested for killing a woman while street racing. Released.

And she's sitting at home making YouTube videos. That's a load of bullshite right there.

Praying for the family. This is why it’s so important to get life insurance. It’s not that expense and we never know when our time will come.
