Those old Big Eight schools, outside of the Oklahoma schools and Nebraska, treat baseball like an intramural sport.

Mizzou is also a 6/7 win football program most years and they aren't exactly UNC in basketball either. They're basically just here for the St. Louis and KC media markets. I hate having them in the SEC. They don't belong in this conference.

And even more so is they just don't really belong. They don't even think they belong. We got them for the markets, they came here because the B1G said no.
I'd be much happier with NC State or Virginia Tech performing in a similar manner.

Yeah I kinda feel bad for their fans. Missouri is a weird amalgamation of Midwest, Great Plains, and Southern without fully being any of the 3 so they don't fit in with the Big 12, B1G, or SEC. They're the shitty at sports version of West Virginia.

A chunk of realignment really sucked
- Missouri should be playing Kansas and Nebraska every year
- West Virginia should be playing some combination of Pitt, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Tennessee, Kentucky every year
- Nebraska should be playing Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, etc every year
- Rutgers should be playing Monmouth and Albany
- Maryland should be playing UVA, UNC, etc every year
I will never get past seeing Nebraska and Michigan State or West Virginia and anyone in the Big XII playing a conference game and being like WTF is this shite.

Most of realignment sucked. Honestly the only two teams I can think of who ended up in a situation that made more sense for them were Colorado and TCU. Maybe Pitt and Louisville too, but there's really not a huge cultural or geographic difference between the ACC and the old Big East.
