With Moses and McMillon coming back, what does the depth chart look like for this position group?

would not be surprised if Moses didn't come back, assuming he gets a draft grade in the top 3 rounds.

It all depends on who goes down with season-ending leg injuries in fall practice. There will inevitably be a couple.

If he does, I wonder now the rotation would be. Being that Lee and Harris have gotten so much experience and have proven themselves in some ways, I couldn't see them not getting quality reps next season even if Moses comes back.

Would love for one of the new recruits to step in/ or challenge a spot from Lee and possibly even Harris. That LB group we have coming in is insane.

Do we even know if McMillon can come back? Wasn't he a fifth-year senior?

I was rooting for him this year as the QB of the defense. When he went down with the injury, though, I think that spelled the end of his Alabama career.

His biggest asset was knowing the defensive calls inside and out. IF Moses comes back next year (and I think that's a big "if"), he'll definitely be at one ILB spot, and may very well take over playcalling duties. I think Harris, Lee, or one of the other ILBs takes the other spot, depending on the defensive alignment.

As our younger guys got experience this season, it was hard to see McMillion hanging on to his spot really. With Mack leaving early it really was the perfect storm for a guy who hung in there and waited his turn. Lee and Harris will be a lot better next season, and LBer is always going to attract a lot of 5* talent at Bama every year. You got to believe McMillion saw this season as his best opportunity.

He is probably gonna apply for a 6th year medical redshirt

I kinda would be surprised if either did come back. I don't think McMillon would start (barring injury). I think if Moses came back then he and Harris would likely spend some time rushing the passer in OLB packages in addition to time as ILB.

Why would an NFL team draft Moses in the first 3 rounds when they haven’t even seen him play much? He has a little film from last season but that’s about it

I know they value measurables but I have to think not seeing him play much has to be a factor too. And he will be coming off a major injury. If I ran a team I wouldn’t touch the guy in the first 5 rounds

I have it on good authority that Moses will be back next year

This is my take as well. He has been good at ILB the last few seasons, but not some dominant force. This was supposed to be the year where he filled that role and proved that he was worthy of a 1st round draft pick.

I'm pretty sure a team will take a chance on him if he declares, but probably not in the first 3 rounds.

Think CBS and Todd Mcshay have Moses in the first round.

It's unlikely that McMillon will be granted a medical hardship waiver. There's a slim chance, but as the rule reads, he doesn't qualify.

There's no reason for Moses to jump to the NFL if his draft status is hurt by the injury. His family is fairly well off. Unless, of course, he just wants to go. He's physically gifted enough to go very early, but I don't know that he has the body of work yet to get that high draft grade.
