As of noon on day 2, Irv Smith is having a really nice day - fast (4.63 40), explosive, etc. He's a tick shorter than ideal, but being spoken about as the best route runner of the TE group. Smooth, fast athlete all around.
DHarris is having a decent day as well - a little low on the bench press, but a good 40 (4.57) and explosive in the vertical (37") and the broad jump.

A Bama player a little low on the bench press... I am shocked.

Irv Smith is going to be a 1st round pick.

Thing is, if he does, he'll probably be the 2nd TE off the board.
Noah Fant is destroying the Combine...

It isn't that farfetched honestly.

He could easily be a early 2nd round pick.

Some mock drafts already have him as a 1st round pick.

When Irv caught the TD against LSU his speed was impressive.

ok, who's taking him in the first round? There's alot of other variables besides combine performance.

Green Bay is projected to take him in several mock drafts in the 1sr round.

The one he caught against Arkansas was pure speed. Bad stinking angle from the ESPN crew( Bad Weather).

quote:no idea why you would be laughing your arse off at this. TE is a high value position in today's NFL, smith was a dominant pass catching te at the highest level of college football, he's putting together a good combine (he ran a 4.6x at 242 lbs), and he's got a ton of great film showing his superb route running. He may not go first round, but it's not like it's that much of a stretch that he would. Here's at worst the second best te in the draft
Lmao no he is not

Dear God.
3rd fastest behind DL guys weighing 250 and 280.
Hell, he's as fast as Eli Holyfield
ETA: 4th, looks like Rashan Gary making money too. Still lighter than QW tho...

Damien Harris' official 40 was lowered to a 4.49. Which is a great time for him. Solidified himself in that second tier behind guys like Jacobs and Montgomery.

Mack Wilson sitting out the 40 and drills. Claims a tight hamstring.

Mack should've just stayed. He isnt going in the top three rounds

I dont see there being three TEs taken in the first and he would be third.
