Yes. Leatherwood is probably gone, he is a sure fire 1st rounder and possible top ten pick.

Saban said he was happy with the OL's progress. I don't recall him ever saying that this early. Even with several new guys in the lineup I think there is good talent and depth.
I think Neal is going to take a spot, if not immediately later on in the season.
Deonte Brown was a devastating run blocker last year, but I wonder how much rust will have accumulated once he's eligible to play again. I'm not sure if he has a spot available when he comes back but we will see.

However, it appears Mac Jones is showing signs that he is perfectly capable of answering the call if needed. Nick Saban spoke highly of the redshirt sophomore following Alabama’s scrimmage over the weekend, stating Jones “did a really good job of trying to lead the team when he was in there.” We’ll see how Jones does when Alabama inserts him into first-team situations early this season. So far, things are looking positive.

Alabama lands seven on CBS Sports Preseason All-America team

CBS Sports released its 2019 Preseason All-America team on Tuesday, and the Alabama Crimson Tide led the way with three first-team selections and seven overall players on the preseason list.
Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, defensive lineman Raekwon Davis and linebacker Dylan Moses were named to the first team. Jeudy and Moses were two of nine unanimous selections by CBS Sports.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood, safety Xavier McKinney and punt returner Jaylen Waddle were voted to the second team by a panel of college football experts.
The winner of the Biletnikoff Award, which is annually given to the top receiver in the nation, Jeudy paced the Crimson Tide in receptions (68), receiving yards (1,315), receiving touchdowns (14), yards per catch (19.3) and yards per game (87.7). His 19.3 yards per catch is an Alabama single-season record (minimum 50 catches), surpassing the previous total of 17.0 by DJ Hall in 2006 (17.0 - 62 receptions for 1,056 yards).
As a junior in 2018, Davis earned All-SEC second-team accolades from the Associated Press and was a defensive player of the week for Alabama’s coaches for his play against Arkansas State, Louisiana and Mississippi State. He recorded 55 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and six quarterback hurries in 15 games played.
Alabama’s starting Will linebacker in its base and nickel defenses, Moses recorded a team-high 86 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss (-41 yards) and 3.5 sacks (-29 yards), while adding one pass breakup, one forced fumble and one quarterback pressure to his sophomore totals. Last season, Moses earned second-team All-America recognition from the Walter Camp Football Foundation and was selected as an All-SEC second-team honoree by the league coaches as a sophomore.
Tagovailoa led the country with a 199.4 passer efficiency rating and led the SEC with 48 total touchdowns, 43 of which came through the air to lead the SEC and rank second in the nation. He totaled 4,156 yards of total offense, good for second in the SEC and top-10 nationally, despite not playing a majority of the second halves of UA’s games. Through the air, he sported a 69.0 completion percentage on 245-of-355 passing and totaled 3,966 yards and 43 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He added 57 rushes and 190 yards with five scores on the ground.
As a sophomore, Leatherwood started all 15 games at right guard last season. The former 5-star recruit recorded 33 knockdown blocks to his name for an offense that was tops in the SEC and among the best in the entire nation. Leatherwood earned second-team All-SEC honors from the league’s coaches during his first full season as a collegiate starter.

McKinney ranked third on the Tide’s defense with 73 tackles, including six tackles for loss and three sacks, last season. He was tied for second with two interceptions, including one of UA’s pick-sixes in 2018. The then-sophomore also added 10 pass breakups to tie for second to go with two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble. He was selected as the Defensive MVP in the Orange Bowl.
Waddle was one of three freshmen to play in all 15 games last year. The star newcomer shined on special teams as a punt returner, averaging 14.56 yards per return and scoring one touchdown. He only returned 16 punts (for 223 yards) as teams quickly learned to punt away from the freshman.

Those are the tamer snippets. But don’t worry, none of it’s personal.
“Nah, Coach Sal is a tough coach, so we’ve all kind of got in a sense a butt chewing by Coach Sal,” redshirt junior Terrell Lewis said. “He does all of that, but it’s all out of love because he sees the potential in us and he sees the potential in this group. Even when he does chew us out, he’ll also talk to us immediately and be like, ‘Now guys, the only reason I’m doing this is because I see the potential.'"
Sunseri rejoined Alabama this offseason for his second stint in Tuscaloosa. The 59-year-old assistant previously coached linebackers for the Crimson Tide from 2009-11, helping lead the team to two national championships. He is currently heading into his 35th season as an assistant and has made multiple stops at both the college and pro levels.
“He's an OG so we respect him and we like to learn from him,” redshirt senior Anfernee Jennings said.
While Sunseri’s surly demeanor can come off strong to the casual observer, his straightforward approach has developed a trust and belief amongst his players.
“He's hard-nosed, I mean he's old-school. He can't help but be like that,” Jennings said. “He ain't the type of coach that's gonna sit there and pat you on the back all the time. He’s gonna tell you when you mess up, he's gonna tell you when you're doing good and just keep it real with you at all times. For me as a player that's trying to get better each and every day, that's all you can ask for."
In fact, Sunseri’s tough love seems to be rubbing off. Jennings and Lewis have both taken on the assistant's no-nonsense approach as they return as the only two members of the unit with any starting experience.
"Coach Sal knows I’m his guy, so he comes to me and when it’s time for me (to have) player-to-player interaction,” Jennings said. “He knows he can come to me and I can give him what he needs. He just knows I’m his guy.”
Outside of Jennings and Lewis, Alabama’s remaining five scholarship players at the position have featured in just 10 games combined. That inexperience has been magnified as the Crimson Tide has suffered several injuries to key members of its front seven in recent weeks.
Alabama’s growing pains were noted by Saban over the weekend as he talked about his team’s many mental lapses following its first scrimmage. The Crimson Tide has a little more than two weeks to smooth things out before it opens its season against Duke on Aug. 31.
For Alabama’s outside linebackers, that leaves little time to waste and no room for self-pity.
“Everybody else is going through the same stuff we’re going through, so it’s no reason to look at yourself and kind of try to find an excuse for anything,” Lewis said, “because everybody else has got to learn the playbook too everywhere else.”
